"Is this...salad?"

Dream picked at the unusual-looking toppings. Unusual to him, only.

Niki smiled and popped a thinly sliced radish into her mouth.

"Japanese salad! Topped with sliced carrots, radishes, wombok, which is Chinese cabbage, and zucchini and chicken."

"Hm." Dream stabbed a few toppings and munched on the foreign meal.

"It's good."

Niki nodded. "I have it every week. I heard it was super good for you."

Dream continued eating and swallowed. "So, how has your work been?" Dream asked.

Niki shrugged, clearly not wanting to talk about work. "It's been fine. Hey, I haven't mentioned this to anyone yet, but I noticed that two cells in the first-floor containment room are empty. Was it always like that?"

Dream spit out his water back into his cup abruptly, taken back by the question. He quickly took a napkin and wiped his mouth.

"I- uh- um sorry." Dream smiled, embarrassed as Niki laughed at his spit-take.

"No worries, it's ok."

Dream nodded and cleared his throat. "Well I uh- I didn't even notice that. I haven't been in there for a while." Dream cleared his throat again, feeling a twinge of spice.

Niki nodded slowly. "Ah, ok. Well I do remember one subject's name being George and he wasn't there."

Dream thought back to George and the two boys in his room. "Oh yeah, I remember him. Yeah maybe they transferred him?" Dream lied.

Niki shrugged. "Maybe, maybe. So Fundy told me about the vials."

Dream choked on his salad leaf and harshly swallowed it down. "Agh- What?!"

Niki frowned. "The...vials? The blood tests you took for Sansap?"

Dream sighed in relief and took a sip of water. "Oh, yeah. That. His name is Sapnap." He coughed, trying to get rid of this newfound burning sensation.

"Ah, Sapnap...ok." Niki smiled warmly, still a bit confused.

Dream felt his face heating up. He breathed heavily and felt his throat tighten, like someone was choking him. He touched his swelling face and struggled to talk, the heat growing rapidly.

"Um...w-what did you say was in here?" Dream desperately pointed to the salad.

"Uh...sliced carrots, radishes, wombok, zucchini, and chicken...oh! And some soy sauce."

Dream widened his eyes. "Some soy...sauce?"

"...yeah?" Niki watched her co-worker gasp for air. "Are you ok?"

"I'm...I'm allergic to soy...sauce..." Dream fell out of his chair and rolled onto the floor, gripping his throat and coughing.

Niki stood up and rushed to help him. "OH GOD! I DIDN'T KNOW! I PUT SO MUCH SOY SAUCE DREAM- SOMEBODY HELP! HELP!" Niki's yells echoed in the hallways.

Dream watched the world slowly fade to black, his eyes burning.

"C'mon. SHOW YOURSELF BITCH!" Skeppy pointed his flashlight around Bad's dorm, jumping at any shadow that moved with the light.

"You ssssshould sssstop ssssaying thossse bad wordssss, Sssskeppy."

Skeppy flinched and turned towards the sounds, illuminating the dark demon sitting on the bed.

Halo smiled. "Watch your mouth, diamond boy."

Skeppy gritted his teeth. "Don't call me that, Halo. Only Bad calls me that."

Halo stood up, or...floated, up, and moved towards Skeppy.

"Is that ssssso?" Halo gently caressed Skeppy's jawline.

Skeppy pushed his clawed hand away and shivered at the repeating hiss sounds.

Halo frowned. "Don't like the hissing, do you?" Halo said, almost exactly knowing Skeppy's thoughts.

"So you can turn it off, huh?"

Halo smiled. "I can turn everything off."

Halo's matte black skin melted away, leaving behind pale normal skin. His pupils returned to the white eyes, and the deep black hair slowly turned back to a shade of light brown.

Skeppy stumbled backward in shock. "B-Bad?"

"Still Halo," he replied in the disguise of Bad's normal voice, followed by an eery laugh.

Skeppy stared at Halo. He scowled and stomped up to him. "No." Skeppy fumed as he looked Halo in the eyes, the eyes he once knew as Bad's.

"NO! YOU DON'T GET TO LOOK LIKE HIM! YOU DON'T GET TO USE BAD! GET OUT OF HIM!" Skeppy furiously threw the flashlight at Halo, who cooly dodged it and returned to his spot.

"Bad isn't here. He won't be for a while, like I said," Halo replied.

Hot tears streamed down Skeppy's face. He fell to his knees and sobbed. "I n-need my B-Bad."

Halo rolled his eyes and knelt down, lifting Skeppy's chin up, and dragging his claw across his throat. He leaned in closer to Skeppy.

"But I," Halo stared at Skeppy coldly in the eyes, "Don't. Need. You."
