Journal Entry #12: How Tragic

"Holy honk! That's...that's insane!" Karl laughed and dropped his jaw as George nodded and continued to talk. 

"It was crazy. Oh and um...um..."

George blinked hard as voices grew louder in his head.

"I love you, George. But we can't be together anymore. It's not safe for you."

Karl leaned forwards and looked up at George's face, ridden with sorrow. "George. You okay buddy?"

George winced as another voice echoed. 

"You don't have to love me back George. I just want you happy and safe."

"Um Karl- do you know who Dream is?" George asked.

Karl shook his head. "Never heard of them. That's a cool name though."

George sighed and leaned forwards. "So you know how I told you that I don't really have my memories back yet?"

Karl nodded.

"Well- I don't know how I still know you, but that gives me hope that maybe they will come back someday."

Karl smiled. "I'm really happy you still remember me. I missed you a lot. But...why did you all of a sudden ask about someone named Dream?"

George nervously played with his fingers. "Um...I think that he used to be my boyfriend in the past, but he still has feelings for me now, and I just..."

"You're confused because you don't remember any of your past with him and you don't know how to love him back." Karl nodded and took a sip of his Arizona tea.

George nodded. "I wish this never happened to me."

Karl frowned. "What? George, you have cool powers now. And you're finally back with me, your best friend!"

George nodded. "Maybe one day, I'll get my memories back."

"Dude! You got your memories back! That's so cool!"

Eret smiled at Sapnap and poured him a cup of coffee. Sapnap shrugged. 

"I'm really enjoying it and having Dream back, but Eret, can I let you in on a little secret?" Sapnap leaned forwards and quieted down to a whisper.

Eret nodded quickly and leaned in. 

Sapnap smiled. "I do not miss remembering Dream's cringy youtube videos from when he was 11."

Eret and Sapnap broke into a fit of laughter and Sapnap wiped a tear from his eyes. "No seriously dude, Dream was all like, 'Sapnap! I'm gonna make a youtube channel and get millions of subscribers!"

Eret chuckled and sighed. "Well I'm glad you two are happy."

Sapnap nodded and looked down at his mug of coffee. "Hey, how's Wilbur going?"

Eret sighed. "He's only getting worse. Really high fevers and uncontrollable spasms. He keeps saying his mind is fuzzy. I don't know what's wrong with him."

"He needs to stay away from the kids. You're gonna get him under control, right?" 

Sapnap looked up at Eret nervously glancing at Wilbur's bedroom door. "Let's hope so."

"Halo we need to talk."

"Oh! Is this serious? I can put on my actual voice if this is super serious. Here, doesss thisss help?"

Skeppy shook his head. "Please no that just disturbs me-"

"Ok sorry, hah. What was it you needed to talk about?"
