Wilbur smiled as he stepped into the containment room. He slipped his suit on and whistled to the faint jazz playing in his earbuds, as the steam blew out overhead.

The doors opened and he approached the cells. Wilbur nodded to Ranboo. "Morning Ranboo."

He turned his attention to Techno, who was whittling a knife out of the piece of wood Wilbur gave him.

"I see you're enjoying the wood?" Wilbur sat down crisscrossed in front of the glass wall and watched Techno.

"Just because you know that I can talk doesn't mean we're friends now," Techno replied coldly.

"Ooh, ouch." Wilbur pretended to be cold and rubbed his arms.

Techno scoffed and continued to carve the wood. "You don't know a single thing about this Foundation and they decide to hire you. Of course they did."

Wilbur stopped the charades and looked at Techno confused, curious to hear what he meant.

"Who exactly are 'they'?" Wilbur asked.

"The Foundation?" Techno stopped his crafting and looked up at Wilbur.

Wilbur nodded. "The Foundation. I know Schlatt but I always hear "they" or "them", like it's a group of people."

"It could be someone who goes by they/them pronouns, you never know," Techno replied.

Wilbur shook his head. "No, it's not like that. It feels like it's some sort of...organization. Who are "they"?"

"Gosh you don't know anything about the Foundation, or the stupid Helios people..." Techno muttered under his breath.

Wilbur arched his eyebrows. "Helios what?"

Techno stopped whittling his knife and slowly looked up at Wilbur. "You heard nothing."

"..." Wilbur watched the mutant calmly return to his activity. "And how would  you  know so much about the Foundation, Techno?"

Techno sighed. "Do you ever stop talking?"

"Yeah, I stop talking when you answer my questions. What is Helios?" Wilbur asked.

Techno stared at Wilbur, unable to answer. Wilbur stared back, waiting for Techno to drop something, anything, on this newly-found "Helios". After a few seconds passed of staring, Wilbur sighed and got up.

He brushed his suit off and headed out the door, angrily tossing the suit onto the metal bench and fast-walking down the hallway. He stopped and knocked on a door. It opened, revealing a sleepy fox-eared man groggily greeting Wilbur.

"Fundy, you know how to pick locks, right?"

Fundy's ears perked up, his eyes widening and shaking his head. "No. No no no no no I am NOT helping you with whatever you-"

"Techno's speaking," Wilbur cut Fundy off.

Fundy knit his brow. "Techno? The subject we've been working on?"

Wilbur nodded. "Yes. And now I need your help breaking into the file room because I never really questioned my job here, and for the first time I'm realizing, this Foundation doesn't tell us jack shit."

Fundy pressed his lips together and thought about it.

"Do you know what Helios is?" Wilbur asked.

Fundy frowned at Wilbur. "How the hell do you know Helios?" He asked.

"Mm." Dream touched his face gently and winced at the incurred pain.

He opened his eyes slowly and squinted at the blinding light.

"Dream? Dream are you awake?"

Dream looked around and slowly lifted his head, pushing through the pounding headache he had.

Niki curiously looked at Dream. "Dream, how are you feeling?"

Dream pushed himself up and groaned. "How bad was it?"

Niki smiled sympathetically at Dream's glazed face. "I was tempted to take a picture, but I didn't think you would like it."

"Ha." Dream smiled slightly, causing his cheek to burn up a little.

"Dream, I'm really, really sorry about the soy sauce. I really didn't know-"

"Niki, you're fine. Most people don't know anyways. I don't even think I've told anyone," Dream said.

Niki nodded. Dream grunted and struggled to get up off the couch. Niki frantically rushed over to Dream.

"No no you need to rest Dream." Niki persuaded Dream back onto the couch.

"But I have some stuff for my work I need to do-"

"No you are absolutely not going back to work. You're staying on rest for a week." Niki argued.

Dream sighed. "Okay, a week. But then-"

"Then you'll go back to work, yes. Don't worry," Niki replied.

Dream nodded. Niki smiled and stood up, taking hold of the door handle. "If you need anything just call me."

"Okay. Thanks."

Niki winked and closed the door behind her, letting out a sigh.
