"Now I understand why you two were late yesterday" April sighed rolling over on the bed, I slipped on my flats "y'all take forever to get ready"

"We don't—dress up" Athena walked out putting her hair into a ponytail, April looked at her smiling "I like your hair up, you can see your beautiful blue eyes," she said her chin in her hands and stomach on the mattress

Athenas face filled with pinkness, she bit her lip to hid the smile and grabbed flats for herself "no heels?" I asked her reading a brow

"Yeah no, they ruined the back of my foot, I had to put like five bandaids" she shook her head, I laughed at her and then walked towards the door, I opened it waiting for them to go first

I closed the door behind them and walked towards the elevator, April pressed the button for us and moved back a little in case someone was coming out

It dinged and opened slowly, a man held a cart with empty plates and food, he looked up from his phone smiling "hey April" he said

"Hey Jace," she said walking inside, she looked to see the main floor was already clicked on and didn't bother touching it, "Jace, Athena and Aesira—Athena and Aesira, Jace" she pointed to us as an introduction

"Hi Jace it's nice to meet you," Athena said smiling, he smiled back "you too Athena" he gave her a head nod, "and Aesira" he nodded to me

I pressed my lips together and gave him a tight smile returning my face to the elevator doors, "not a friendly person I see—well I love a challenge" he laughed at his own words, what he said made me cringe, he seemed nice I have to admit but I felt as if I was going to get bored of him easily

The elevator doors opened with a ding making me glad to get out of this situation, I walked out my arms around my body "all right well I'm doing a game today so you two will be standing close so you can watch how I do it ok" April said

She moved to a table where there were multiple men already seated, she moved into the middle and smiled "hey boys" she said getting everything ready, smirks appeared on their faces, I stood close by watching

I looked around after a while and looked at some free stools with no one sitting on them, "I'm gonna go sit" I whispered to Athena

"Don't you want to learn?" She asked me, I shook my head "I think I get it—but you stay and watch" I patted her arm, she nodded "don't start trouble" she whispered before I left

I smiled and walked to the free seats, I pulled my skirt as low as I could before sitting down and running my fingers through my hair moving it from left to right, my hands went around my waist keeping it as if it was a shield

I started to feel uncomfortable like eyes were on me, maybe it's just some random horny men

"Aesira" I heard a voice from behind me, I turn my head landing on the guy from the elevator "Jace was it?" I asked

He nodded sitting beside me "go right ahead" I said sarcastically "I don't think you like me very much" he commented

"What makes you think that," I said confused, we had one conversation about how is he supposed to tell

"You just give off that vibe"

"It's not that—I'm just not a people person" I shrugged, it was the truth, making friends or meeting people was never my strong suit, I had Athena and that's all I needed at the end of the day

"I'm not a bad guy," he said "never said you were" I laughed

He nodded his head slowly probably thinking of his next words, was I being too rude? "What are you doing here anyway" I looked around
