A chance of love (casualty)

Emily answered the door and frowned as she saw Iain and sighed "what are you doing here Iain" Emily asked as he liked to her and sighed

"don't be like that em. I just want to see  my daughter please. I know I messed up but calleigh is my daughter and I miss her. I missed you too" Iain said as Emily liked to him and sighed as she lead him inside. 

"She's in the living room. Go on" Emily said as she looked to him as he walked into the room. She walked after him and followed him and sighed as she looked to him as he picked calleigh up who giggled. She saw the smile on her baby's face and smiled to herself.

Emily wasn't stupid and she knew just how much calleigh missed Iain and she knew what he had done but she also knew that he was still a good dad and she seen how much calleigh had missed him

"do you want to take her for a few days I mean we should come to some arrangement but you can have her for two nights and then we can talk" Emily said as Iain smiled

"I'd like that although I wish we didn't have to decide who is allowed to have her" he said as she smiled knowing he was right

Emily got to work and walked into the staffroom and looked to Leah and smiled

"hey" Emily said as Leah looked to her

"hey how are you doing" Leah asked as Emily sighed "I had to let my daughter go and stay with her dad and I miss her but it's what I have to do I mean we are not together and it's what has to happen" Emily said as Leah looked to her sister and smiled

"I know it's hard I do but you and Iain are great together you always have been. He made a stupid mistake and I can tell that you are still in love with him and you can try and make this work. I know it's what you want" Leah said as Emily looked to her and sighed.

Emily knew it was a mess and she didn't know what she wanted at all and she didn't know if it was Iain back after all that he had done to her.

He had cheated and broken her heart but she also knew despite that she still loved him and how part of her was considering giving him another chance.

She was unsure. She was unsure if she could put herself through it all and do it again after everything that happened

Emily sighed as she stood by reception. She looked to see Iain as he came in with a call out.

He handed her the chart as she lead him into resus. She stood watching him for a moment as she thought of everything that they had been through together and all that they had and it was making her miss him but she knew how he had cheated in her and how much it had hurt her and how she had no idea if she could trust him again.

But with Emily being so confused could she find a way to give him another chance?
