Emily knew how she and Iain were trying to make it work. But there was tension between them. Emily didn't want to have another baby but Iain did.

She knew how she wanted to wait until Calleigh was old enough to understand the change that was going to happen. She knew it was complicated. And she just hated how she felt so miserable.

Iain had been trying to talk her into having another baby. But she couldn't. Not when she was worried that Calleigh would feel like she was being pushed out. And that was the last thing she wanted.

All she knew was that she wanted Iain to understand that she wasn't ready for a second child. And she had to hope that they would be okay.

When she woke that morning, she saw Calleigh sitting on the bed. "Hi baby. Where's daddy?" She asked.

Calleigh pointed to the door and then to her ears. She smiled. "Is daddy on the phone?" Emily asked.

Calleigh nodded. "Dada phone."

Emily smiled. She climbed out of bed and picked her daughter up. The two of them left the bedroom. Emily saw Iain there and smiled. "Hey. You okay?" She asked.

Iain nodded. He kissed Emily's lips before he smiled. "I've gotta go. Said I'd go in early. So I can finish early and then we can talk tonight," he said as he walked off.

Emily stood there and frowned. She had no idea what was going on. But she needed to get to the bottom of it.

Emily went into work. She smiled as she saw Leah. Leah walked over to her. "Hey. So I've been thinking. Do you wanna go on a spa weekend with me? Sam offered to mind Alexa. And I'm sure Iain would have Calleigh."

Emily nodded. She smiled. "I'd love that. I need a break away. Iain and I... it's tense. And I don't know what's going on there."

"Is this over the whole baby thing?"

"I think so. He left the house as soon as I got out of bed. Said we would talk after after work. Is he here?" Emily asked.

Leah shook her head. "I've been here since 7am. Haven't seen him. But then I've been nowhere near the ambulance bay."

Emily nodded and sighed. She didn't know what was going on. But she was going to get to the bottom of it.

Emily walked to the ambulance bay. She saw Iain and walked over to him. "Hey. What's going on?" She asked.

"I think I've found us an house."

"Wait. What? Iain. What's going on?"

Iain smiled. He took out his phone and got a website up. He handed the phone. Emily looked at it and sighed. "It's a nice house. But we don't need it."

"For when we have another baby. Babe you were saying about getting a bigger house so we can have another one. I've sorted it. And now you're being like this?"

Emily looked to him. She shook her head. "You're putting too much pressure on me. I can't do this Iain," she told him as she turned and walked off.

But was this the beginning of the end for Emily and Iain?
