Emily walked into the ED, she was stressed, all the drama was getting to much. Sam, her mum and even Iain. She knew that there was something about Iain that effected her, she knew jebwas nothing like Sam. Sure Sam was a great guy but she wasn't in love with Sam. "What have we got hear" Emily asked Alicia "sixteen year old, holly keeper, attempted suicide, arteries are the infected and bleeding out after a rusty nails" Alicia said as Emily slid on her glaoves and grabbed bandages "we need to stop the bleeding, asap" Emily said as she went to control the bleeding, as Holly's eyes shut "come on holly, stay with me"Emily said as the monitor started to beep "her heart rates dropping, quickly" Emily as she tried to stablise holly "time of death 9.33" Connie said as she walked over, she knew Emily tried her best and even if Connie hated her daughter right now she knew Emily was, if nothing a good doctor. Emily stood looking at holly, she was sixteen and she had ended it all "doctor Beauchamp why don't you take a break",Connie said to Emily. Emily looked to Connie, and Connie smiled to her slightly.

Emily walked off to the staff room, she couldn't breathe, it hurt, she had most her first patient and it felt as if she was worthless. Emily sink down so that she was sitting on the floor, she had blood on her hands and she sat starring at her hands as the door to the staffroom opened. Iain walked on, Emily's breathe caught in her throat as a tear fell down her face she didn't want him to see her that way.

Iain turned around as he boiled the kettle and spotted Emily sitting on the phone "you okay" iain asked and Emily looked at her bloody hands "no, I'm not. I failed a patient, she was sixteen and I couldn't safe her, there was so much blood I couldn't make it stop" Emily said as a tear fell down her face. Iain sat on the floor next to her "I remember why first death, ten year old kid, shot my his abusive step father I couldn't save him" Iain said and Emily looked to Iain "that poor kid" "I think you need to wash that blood, come on" Iain said as he helped her off of the ground and lead her other to the sink, she was in shock, Iain helped her wash her hands "what happened" Iain asked "she was sixteen,  she killed her self, I couldn't stop the bleeding I couldn't stop the bleeding" "I'm sorry" Iain said as he hugged her.

Connie walked into the staffroom as she heard Emily and Iain talking "when I was sixteen, after my mum kicked ms out, I tried to kill myself, if it weren't for sam I probably of actual killed myself, he saved me just on time. I slid NY wrists with a razor, I thought I had no one, my mum hated....still hates me and I know she will never forgive me" Emily said and Connie bit her lip , she felt so bad for what her daughter had been through "I'm sorry" Connie said and Emily looked to her "I'll leave you alone" Iain said walking out. Emily stood where she was and connie walked over to her "I'm sorry" conniensiad and Emily bit her lip trying to stop herself crying "I didn't mean for it to happen...with Sam, I'm sorry" Emily said and Connie smiled hugging Emily "me too"
