Emily answered the door and smiled as she saw Iain "hi" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"you wanted to see me" he said as Emily looked to him and nodded as he walked inside

"I wanted to talk to you over calleigh and I think we need to set up a custody arrangements for her" Emily said as Iain looked to her and frowned

"why" he asked as she looked to him and sighed "because we are not together and it is the right thing to do, look we aren't together but she has a right to see both of her parents and we need to do that, we need to sort this for her" Emily said as Iain looked to her

"we could be together though, you know that don't you. We could try again and I could prove just what you mean to me and how I never meant to hurt you and then we wouldn't have to go through any of this, I really am sorry" Iain said as Emily looked to him and sighed. She couldn't believe that she was back to this conversation again

"we have talked about this Iain, you hurt me and I can't take you back or forgive you and we have to arrange something for calleigh" Emily said as he looked to her and sighed

Emily got to work and stood in the staffroom as Leah walked in. Leah looked to Emily and frowned

"what happened" Leah asked as Emily looked to her and sighed

"Iain happened what else would it be I mean he drives me mad, he won't set up a custody arrangement as he still thinks we will be a family again. I can't get back with Leah I mean it would be easy if I could but I can't, he cheated on me when my mum was ill to spite me and that hurt more than the cheating and I just can't go there. I can't put myself through it again. It will destroy me if he did it again" Emily said as Leah looked to her and smiled

"I know that he hurt you and I know it is still hurting you but he is the father of your child after all and you can try again if you want to I mean no one would judge you for it I mean after all you and Iain have been through a lot" Leah said as Emily looked to her and sighed.

Emily didn't know what to do or think and she didn't know if she even wanted to try again but she also knew that deep down there was still part of her that loved Iain and knows it was never going to be officially over with them

Emily sighed as she walked into the ambulance bay as Iain looked to her and frowned

"em, is everything okay" he asked as she looked to him and sighed

"well calleigh misses you all she is asking for is you, your her dad and I think you should see her" Emily said as Iain nodded

"of course"

"and...I think we need to talk, and it's important" Emily said as Iain nodded but could she really try again with Iain after all that has happened between them?
