Emily stood in the hallway as she stood pacing. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed. She was waiting anxiously on news over Iain. She felt sick to her stomach and was fearing that she was going to loose him. She couldn't bare to loose Iain. He was the father of her child and she knew he had saved her from being shot. She knew if something happened to him that she would never forgive herself and she didn't know if she could raise calleigh alone. Connie walked out of resus and looked to Emily and smiled "how is he?" She asked feeling anxious as Connie walked over to her and smiled "he is going to be okay, he just needs some rest" Connie said as Emily looked to see that she was covered India blood. She sat on a seat as Connie sat next to her and smiled as she wrapped an arm around her shoulder and smiled as she pulled her close.

"I am your mum, and I swear to you that your not going to be okay. He isn't going to die I promise you" Connie said as Emily looked to her and she started to cry as Connie wipes the tears away from her eyes and smiled "it's going to be okay, I promise you. He's going to go upstairs in a bit and you can go and see him. Why don't you go and get cleaned up and wash the blood off of you as you look a mess and Iain won't want to see you like that" Connie said as Emily looked to her and nodded.

Emily stood upstairs outside of Iain's hospital room. She looked to him as he slept and smiled to herself. Leah walked down the hall with calleigh and smiled "hi baby, have you been a good girl for auntie Leah?" Emily asked calleigh as Leah looked to her and smiled "she's been good as gold, although I think she misses her mummy" Leah said as Emily smiled "more like her daddy, she's a big daddy's girl" Emily said as Leah looked to Emily and smiled "are you okay?" Leah asked Emily who looked to her and nodded "I'm fine, I'm just worried I know mum said he was going to be fine but I still feel anxious over it. I mean he saved me and the last thing I want is to loose him" Emily said as Leah smiled "it's okay, it's not cal again. Iain is alive and that's what matters" Leah said as Emily looked to her and smiled.

Emily walked into Iain's room with calleigh and smiled as calleigh went to reach for Iain "daddy is going to be fine, he just needs some rest" Emily said to calleigh as Leah walked in and smiled "I'll take her if you want to be here for when he wakes up?" Leah said as Emily "thanks" she said as Leah took a sleepy calleigh as Emily smiled "thanks for this" "what are sisters for?" Leah said as Emily looked to her and smiled.

Later Iain woke up and saw Emily who lay asleep next to his bedroom "em" he said as she stirred and looked to him "hey" he said as she looked to him and smiled "your okay?" She asked as he looked to her and smiled "I'm fine, I did this for you and there's not anything I wouldn't do for you. I love you" Iain said as she stood up and kissed him and smiled as she sat next to him on the bed "if you had died I would of killed you myself" Emily said as Iain looked to her and chuckled "I mean it, I never want to loose you Iain" "I'm not going anywhere, I promise" Iain said as he looked to her and smiled.
