Chapter 21

"Shit. Shit. Shit." I cussed under my breath looking for my work clothes.

"Chill. No poo here." Erika said helping me up.

Suddenly the back door opened.

"Prez? Elana?" Kade's voice called out.

"Oh, you dropped this," he said handing out my shirt.

"Uh, thanks. Now please go so I can change." I said Erika thought I meant by her so she left.

"No Erika don't-" I called out but she left.

"It's alright. I'll wait here to keep you company." he said.

"Ass hole!"I said and threw some random thing at him.

It was my apron.

"Oh thanks." he said. And he looked at me then back at the apron.

"Don't, you, fucking dare Kade. You'll get me fired." I said.

"Erika!" I shouted for back up.

With that he shrugged and ran. UGH!! SHIT!!

Erika ran in.

"Cover for me. That ass hole stole my apron." I said.

"Sure." Erika said.

I ran with all my heart following he's blonde head and slowly, slowly, I reached his shadow. I reached out and grabbed his shirt. He stopped so he wouldn't fall.

My expression was like, I'm guessing a crazy woman who forgot what was food although she was hungry and threw it for the poor starving dogs who already has a owner.

"KADE!" I screamed.

Suddenly, some random students from our school passed us.They looked at us and I showed them my death glare.

"President! Hello." the boy said nervously.

With that they both ran away. I sighed and snatches my apron.

Without thinking I stepped on the busy streets where a blue car was just about to...

Hit me? I tried moving but my shoe was caught on something on the street I pulled and pulled.

It's coming closer.. closer!

Suddenly someone grabbed my waist and yanked me off the street causing me to fall on that person.

Kade.
Saved my life.

My shoe was squashed. I looked at him. I was on him. Literally. Oh my favourite shoes...

I heard a phone camera go click as I was looking at Kade in shock. I looked up and, those were the two students who passed by us.

A fire grew in me and scrambled up and chased them down the road. Then I limped back to Kade.

"Thanks." I sighed.

"That's all? That gave me a heart attack." Kade said.

"And sadly, you didn't even try to save my favourite shoe." I said sadly.

"Be more grateful!" He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"A kiss on the check is appropriate." he said with his serious look.

"You idiot." I sighed.

Suddenly he picked me up on his shoulder.

"Shit, Fuck! What the fucking hell dude! LET ME DOWN." I shouted.

I banged on his back and kicked his tummy. Finally I hit his *toot* and he groaned but continued walking. He made sure to swing my legs so I couldn't hit him.

I even bit him.

"LEMME DOWN KADE!" I shouted.

"You got no shoe. I would hate to see you limp back to work." he said.

"Well it was your fault that you made me chase you here stupid idiot!" I scolded.

"Well, I'm making up for it. Your surprisingly quite light." he said.

"What do you mean by surprisingly Huh?!" I shouted.

Despite how I was acting I was grateful he saved me. But it was his fault.

"I'll get you a new pair of shoes similar to your old ones while you work." he said.

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO DO THAT! YOUR NOT MY BOYFRIEND, MY BROTHER OR MY FATHER!" I screamed.

"So I'm your friend then. I'll do it as a friend. Maybe," he said murmuring the last word.
