"Will you please just drag your legs up the front porch please?" Maddy begged.

"I cant. To far, to much, ugh. Effort," I sighed.

"Ela, I will drag you up here if you do not drag your legs here this instant," Maddy said.

"Maddy, if you threatened me again, I will throw my shoe at you," I snapped.

"Okay, okay. Fine. Just come on, climb up. We're a friendly home I promise." Maddy begged.

I dragged my feet up the stairs.

She knocked the door then opened it.

"Not locked? My parents are home," Maddy said.

She opened the door and poked her head.

"Yooohooo! Maddy's home! And I brought a guest." Maddy shouted into the house and then came in.

"Come on in," Maddy said taking my hand. Instead of being reasonable and letting me runaway, she pulled me into the house and closed the door behind her.

"Oh honey! Elana! Oh, haha, how nice to see you!" Judy said and hugged me. "Come on, come In. Kade's in his room. Call him out for me won't you?"

"Come on," Maddy said and dragged me.

Up the grand stairs.
She dragged me all the way in front of a white door.

She knocked so violently I thought that she wanted to break the whole dang door down.

"Heyooooo KADE!! Where are you!? Open the door please?!" Maddy shouted.

The door swung open and there stood an annoyed Kade making a will you shut up? Face. I would never be able to admit it but he looks so fucking cute.

He looked surprised to see me, President Elana wearing a
PRESIDENT shirt.

"Prez, what a surprise," Kade said.

"Kade okay? Ela okay? Okay? Okay. Good. Let's get back to the we can be friends shit," Maddy said.

"What?" Kade asked looking at Maddy confused.

"How's about you guys walk through the neighbourhood together and talk about your differences," Maddy offered.

"What?" Kade asked again looking blur.

"Ugh dude! Just grab your jacket and she'll meet you downstairs," Maddy said.

Once again, dragging me downstairs.

He came down with a jacket on and Maddy practically kicked us out.

"Quick intro for my loving idiotic brother Kade, this is a walk of apologies and confessions," Maddy said then closed the door behind us,

"Gosh, I wish I didn't have to do this," I mumbled.

"Do what?" He asked.

"I'm sorry Kade for saying all those stuff to you," I slurred.

"Sorry huh?" he asked and then chuckled.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I've been liking you for how long, I've been treating you like a queen for that long and you can come here and say your sorry for some shitty stuff you said to me last night?" he asked. But he sounded awfully calm. Not even a speck of anger. But he was really looking away.

"What the hell do you want me to say then? That I love you? I'm sorry but I'm not here to shower you with unwanted I love you's," I snapped.

"And there it goes again," he said.

"What goes again?" I asked.

He stopped which made me stop.

"You won't even tell me why?" He asked.

"Gosh, your such a girl," I said. "Fine, I can't admit to myself how I feel. I can't okay? And if you think it's so easy, it's not. I only got this fucking president thing because I want to make my mom proud of me," I said.

"Admit what?" He asked taking a step closer.

I took step back.

"Stop it. We're not some romance movie okay? I hate those. So we're not gonna do that," I said.

"Do you want the truth from me?" he asked.

I shut my mouth instantly.

"I get it. I understand. I just need you to say it. And I'll leave you to yourself." he said.

Leave, me to myself? No, I don't want that, I don't need that. But, quiet would be good. But it won't be good without him here. Without his hi's and his goodbye's. I know that he's not the one to break his word.

So for once, I'll let my heart soften. Just this once.

"I, I've fallen for you Kade. And I can't say it because I vowed to myself that falling for you will be crucial and heart breaking. And if you want the full truth, I'm scared of you. I'm scared of what you would say to break everything. But now I realise, that this whole time, I've been saying the messed up shit," I confessed.

He looked shocked. Like he didn't expect that.

"So I'm sorry," I said.

"Apology expected," he said.

One thing led to another, we hugged.

"Don't ever tell anyone I told you that Kade, ever." I said.

"Forever in only my mind. Plus, I'm to scared if I tell people that I'll lose this winning memory," Kade said.
