I am currently sitting on the swing of the old playground Roy and I used to play at.
I was thinking. About everything. Roy, Kade, Fuko. Where is my life going to?
This isn't some dramacon. It's me, the president of the school. My reputation is hanging on a rope because of a boy I have mixed feelings about and my worries are constantly directed to Fuko and Roy.
I don't want to be the heartbreaker.
I sighed and looked down.
"I figured you'd be here. It's a nice place to think," Roy's voice said.
I looked up and there stood the one and only. Roy.
I smiled.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi," he replied.
"You know, your apparently a big role in all of our lives," Roy said.
"Who's lives?" I asked.
"Mine, Fuko's, your mother. Your family." he cleared his throat and looked away before finally saying, "Cameron's,"
Sound of running footsteps as a jogger past us. The jogger slowly walked back.
"Oh! What a surprise. Roy! And uh, Elana." Bitch queen said.
"Oh uh, hi?" Roy said.
He obviously felt like she interrupted something.
"Beatrice!!!!" Screamed some little girl's voice.
Bitch queen looked at me alarmingly. I rolled my eyes.
Bitch queen ran into the playground and hid behind us.
"Beatrice!!" The voice came again.
"Shit," she cussed.
And who showed up was, Fuko.
"How dare you, you fucking bitch," Fuko said.
I was shocked. She never swears. She was the cute little thing. The sweet heart. The starfish lover!
"Fuko Danielle Yuko! Watch your language," I said still shocked.
"Sorry Laney! But that stupid girl stole from my starfish collection!" Fuko scolded.
"It was just a joke Faith!" Bitch queen replied.
"Starfish are no joke!" Fuko shouted.
She charged and Roy and I moved out of the way.
Fuko was on top of the bitch queen.
"Give Fuko's Starfish! GIVE IT BACK. GIVE IT BACK!" She said screaming in bitch queen's face.
Roy easily pulled Fuko off of Bitch Queen.
I didn't offer a hand to the bitch queen.
"Give the starfish back," I technically spat.
She got up herself and shoved the stuffed toy shaped as a starfish to me.
I handed it to Fuko and Fuko immediately hugged it.
I rolled my eyes.
"Well, that was over fast," Roy said.
Suddenly Roy burst into laughter and so did I.
"What's so funny?" Bitch Queen asked clearly not Happy of being left out.
We laughed so hard that tears came to our eyes.
"Gosh Roy, I- I can only laugh like this with you," I said.
"I know," he replied.
