"Hi Gabby!" I said.

"Um, hi? Do I know you?" Gabby said.

Gabby my best friend, did not recognise me. Well I can't blame her. I said I had a little changes since the first year of highschool but, this is a lot.

A smile creeped on my face.

"Gabby! It's me." I said.

"You must be mistaken for another Gabby." Gabby said, confused.

"I'm not. Here, let me introduce myself. My name is Elana Joy. This year in less then a week I will be going to Kendril High and will be a second year and my best friend's name is Gabriel Holly." I stated.

At this point, Gabby's mouth could touch the floor.

"No way." Gabby sighed in disbelief.

"Actually there is a way." I said.

"Shut the shit up! What the 'eff' happened to you? Oh my gosh! Did you dye your hair ombré? It's so long! But it looks natural. Where are your glasses? I know your braces are out but the last time I saw you, you were still wearing your glasses and your hair was longer but still short and NOT curly. Did you like, curl your hair? Plus, what the hell? How did you get the dye to look so natural? Oh forget about your hair Your absolutely GORGEOUS!" she gushed.

"Are you done?" I asked smugly.

"I think. But you haven't answered my question about your 'natural looking dyed hair.'" Gabby said.

"Well, my hair is natural. I have never grew it out but after that remark in the market about my sister and I looking super different and over hearing that she was gorgeous and I was still the same, made me want to grow my hair out." I explained.

The market story is a whole different one.

"Did you get like, do surgery with your cheek bones? Cause I never noticed them. And your skinnier too." she said.

"Okay. Let me explain. First, I grew my hair out. Then I was so surprised that my hair turned out ombré. So then I forced my mom to let me get contacts and had to plead to Aunt Bell and I finally got contacts. Transparent of course. And then naturally all the ugliness of my face melted away." I explained.

"No way! So cool." Gabby said.

Also, In my books my description only states a flaw from my book. I learned that if I say less in the description of the book itself than more surprises that are also a big part of the whole book will occur. And it may also attract more readers.

Oh my gosh! Done with that professional talk. I feel so high class!
