Manager Jane! What is HE doing here? I thought we were an all female kitchen?" I whisper shouted to Manager Jane.
She sighed.
"He came to see you. When I said you were late he said he would wait. Then the chefs Bonny and Holly said they couldn't make it because of something I already forgot and I accidentally said it to him he offered help so he'll be working with us for only one day Elana, can you handle that?" she asked me.
I didn't want to let her down so I smiled and nodded.

I sighed a sigh of relief and closed the cafe doors and turned over the open/closed sign.
Taking off my apron, I headed to the kitchen.
"Prez," Kade called.
I pretended not to hear anything.
"Hey, Elana," he tried again but this time he appeared right next to me.
"Kade, can't you just leave me alone?"
"Leave you alone? Right after you kissed me? I would think I'm helping you by just being beside you," Kade said and shrugged.
I felt like punching him sooo bad.
"Kade, Your not helping me whatsoever. And that kiss, well- it never happened," I hissed and pushed him away from me.
I marched over to Gabby.
"I can't take it. I can't Gabby. Just because of that one stupid kiss I stupidly did I-" I cut myself off at the sight of Gabby's big eyes.
"The hell? You didn't tell me any shit about another kiss between you and Kade," she suddenly whisper shouted to me angrily.
"I'm sorry I just-" I sighed not finishing my sentence.
"Ugh, whatever. But because of not telling me, you have to describe everything," she said sternly shoving her apron into her small work locker.
I nodded. We gathered our stuff and together we walked out.
"Well, I was walking home with Roy and Kade and then Roy left, Kade sent me home, I went stupidly running after him, told him to bend down and kissed him," I said in one breath.
"Wait, you kissed him?" she asked with obvious disbelief in her voice.
"Well, I- well, kind of, I don't know. Ugh, basically," I stuttered.
We walked in silence as Gabby gathered her thoughts.
"I get headache with you Ela," she sighed.
"Well, you were the one who wanted to know!" I over exaggerated.
She sighed again, pulled on her shirt and looked at me with serious eyes.
"Ela, tell me the absolute truth. Do you like him? Ugh, even worse, do you love him?" she asked.
Her eyes were seriously intimidating sometimes.
"No, no. No! No. No. I- DONT, I don't know," I said in the end.
"Ela, it's a simple question. I need you to easily answer it please. Do you like or maybe even love Cameron Kade?" she asked grabbing my shoulders.
"Gabby, I told you, I.Do.Not.Know." I replied.
"You are such a 4 year old!" Gabby said frustratingly.
"No I'm not!" I fought back.
"Okay, okay okay. How do you feel to wards him?"
"Confused," I replied.
"Why?"
"Well, because at one minute I want to strangle him to death and king him in the dang-dang. The next minute, I feel butterflies," I explained.
"Oh, shit. Mother Of Pregnant Dolphins! This is bad, so bad," Gabby shouted out.
"Why Gabby! Tell me!" I said shaking Gabby's shoulders eagerly.
"You like him, you don't like him. You've got mixed feelings!" she gushed.
"So?" I asked taking a step back.
"So, it's bad!"
"Why is it bad?"
"I don't know Ela! It's just, Bad!" Gabby said clearly frustrated.
Suddenly, we heard someone clear his or her throat.
We shot a death glare at that person.
"Hey, I'm innocent. Super innocent," Kade said backing away.
"Kade!" I said shocked.
"How long have you been standing here?" Gabby asked.
"I just walked here. I watched you guys argue from a few feet away and I swear all I heard was Gabby screaming, Mother of pregnant Dolphins! And that was pretty funny," Kade said.
"Shit, did we catch to much attention?" I asked looking around.
"You would of, if there were even people walking down these streets at this time. But it looked like you girls were attention seekers," Kade said smiling.
"How?" Gabby asked worried of her cool and calm reputation.
"Well, you stopped in the middle of the road, Gabby grabbed your shoulders and then you shaked Gabby, and then Gabby screamed Mother of pregnant Dolphins which has no meaning whatsoever, so, it looked like you were being two little attention seekers," he explained.
"Ugh, whateves," Gabby said and tied her hair into a ponytail.
Carelessly, Gabby grabbed my hand and pulled me.
"Let's go home, I need know more about this, change of heart," Gabby said pulling me.
