So, now I'm standing here. It's been 2 weeks through school.

Last year Gabby and I thought about me running for president. But in our school it's different. You get to sign up but then the principal and the discipline teacher finds out about if we do our homework, how many times we didn't hand in our assignment and our extra curriculars.

The vote is mostly based on the teachers. So yeah. Now I am standing on the small stage in the auditorium. With 10 other people including myself.

8of them are boys. Which means that leaves only me and another girl.

But seriously, there are more boys than girls in this school.

"Alright so," Principal Red called.

Red. Weird name for a Principal eh?

We directed our attention to Principal Red.

"We've made our decision for who will be able to run for president." He continued.

There was silence for a long time.

"But before that, do we have any, any at all questions from our participants?" Principal Red asked.

Well, it's now or never. I raised my hand up.

"Yes Ms. Joy?" President Red asked.

"I've been curious of this since last year but, can you tell us the percentage of genders in this school?" I asked politely.

"Oh, yes. Great question. We have been meaning to tell you this but, many girls in this school moved out this year. Last year we had 70 percent of the school was male. But this year, 80 percent out of 100 is boys." Principal said.

All the girls gasped and the boys just smiled.

"But then, it's better off this school is a boy school." I said.

"But it isn't Ms.Joy. Now, back to the point." Principal said.

80% of this school are boys this year? But that means that 20% are girls.

Mother of farting angels.

This will be an interesting year.

"Kelly Forn is able to run for president of the student council." Principal said.

So that's my same gender competition.

"Jacky John is also able to." Principal continued.

Jacky John? Poor boy.

"Elana Joy too." principal resumed.

There was silent as we waited for him to say more names.

"That's it. Three contenders only. Now, go back to your lunch. Including contenders." he said.

I smiled and walked down. Gabby and I hugged.

"Did you know that that girl Kelly Forn is a third year?"Gabby informed.

"Cool!" I gushed.

I get to run as president of. The student body of the whole school! But then again, I'll have to deal with the fact that the school only has 20% girls.

That was just sly of Principal Red. Really sly.

"So, how are you feeling?" Gabby asked.

"Great. I feel great." I said.

"Awesome." Gabby laughed.
