I lended her my extra clothes and my brush. I helped her wash her hair. Then I combed her hair.

She got dressed and we walked out the bathroom like nothing happened. We bumped into Kade.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could've done something about it," I scolded Kade.

He put a hand on my shoulder.

"We know and we didn't want you to suffer the consequences and get something worst from name calling and threats," Kade said.

"We're both paranoid," Maddy sighed.

"Laney!" shouted Fuko.

I looked behind in confusion.

"Hmm?" I replied.

"Fuko's bag went missing! It went missing!" Fuko said breathless.

"Missing? How? When ? You sure you didn't misplace it?" I asked.

"No, no. Fuko didn't," she said.

"It's alright, we'll go searching for it tonight okay?" Maddy asked.

"Hmm!" she replied.

2 hrs later...

"Okay, we'll separate me and Fuko, Elana and Kade," Maddy said.

"Great. You know, I always wonder why I'm stuck with this guy," I said.

"Because, well, you make a good pair. Now, off to work," Maddy said then dragged Fuko.

"You know, the fact that you and I are friends weird me out. We don't look like friends," I said.

"Yep, in fact prez, we look like a couple." Kade said.

"Ugh! No. No." I said and indeed, I could feel myself blushing.

"Prez, why won't you except me? It kinda sad. I know you have feelings for me and I have feelings for you but we both won't do anything about it." Kade said.

"Kade, there's nothing between us. There never was." I sighed.

"There is something there. Oh yeah, I forgot your to stubborn to admit to anything," Kade said.

I sighed and elbowed him away.

"Prez, prez, hey, don't ignore me," Kade said trying to catch my attention.

But I continued walking.

He grabbed my hand and turned me around.

I looked away to keep myself from blushing madly. Stop blushing bitch! I told myself.

"If there's nothing between us, what explains the kiss? Not to mention, twice. We kissed twice. And one of them was because of you," Kade said.

I finally decided to look at him.

"I honestly have no idea what the hell your talking about," I snapped.

"Elana Joy, I can't take this anymore. I like you and you won't even look me in the eye." he snapped.

I pulled my hand away.

"I'm not heartless. But you, well your just gonna have to suck it up," I said sternly and continued looking around.

That was the first time he called me by my name properly.But I know, I know that I have something there for him stuck in a locked chest. But I won't and will not open it.

Because I'm still the president of the student council and in denial.

My phone rang madly vibrating.

I answered.

"We found it," Maddy said.

"That took long," I said sarcastically.

"It's been an hour," Maddy said.

"An hour? It's barely even been 20 minutes," I said.

"It's passed that," she said sounding confused.

I didn't realise. Kade and I have been quiet for much to long.

"Kade, I'm sorry." I apologised.

"I'll, I'll see you at school," he said.

"What? Why?" I asked.

"Well, it's obvious that you don't enjoy my company. I should just get going," he said with a shrug.

"Wait, I uh," I tried but he already walked away.

What a sensitive muffin. Ugh. What have I done?
