"Dom, get your ass back here," Shauna demanded.

I didn't answer her. I had to try and get back to the front of the building. I moved along the side of the pharmacy until I made it back to the parking lot. I could hear Ashley screaming and yelling for anyone to help her.

I looked around the corner and back into the parking lot. One of the group's members had Ashley on his right shoulder. The man was tall and muscular, wearing a green tank top and blue jean shorts. His face was obscured by the black ski mask he was wearing. Ashley was fighting like hell to get free from him, but the man had a firm grip on her.

The man with the rifle was at the back of all the others, directing traffic, telling the group where to go. He turned in my direction, but I moved back behind the wall before he could see me.

From back in the parking lot, I heard the rifle man ask, "Well, where the fuck are they?"

I popped my head back around the corner and looked again. The rifle guy was berating the man that tried to grab Shauna.

"That bastard hit me with his pipe," the gang member told rifle guy.

"So cry about it," The rifle guy responded in a mocking tone.

Two more members of the group walked out of the building carrying shopping bags that were full of items from inside the pharmacy.

"Please! Let me go!" Ashley pleaded.

"Shut up!" The rifle guy screamed back at her.

Ashley was able to elbow the man that was carrying her on the right side of his head, briefly stunning the gang member. The man dropped Ashley, and she got back up to her feet and she tried to make a run for it.

"No, I don't think so," The attacker said. He ran after her while the rest of the group just stood around and laughed.

Ashley stumbled a bit and the attacker grabbed the back of her shirt. He struggled to get Ahsley back onto his shoulders, she kept kicking and punching the man on his face and chest. The rest of the gang seemed to grow bored with the proceedings and began to move away from the scuffle and they exited the parking lot.

The rifle guy waved Ashley off. "Eh, forget her."

"No. She's gonna pay for hitting me on the fucking head," The other gang member replied.

The rifle guy shrugged. "Whatever." And he moved to go with the rest of the group. I watched as the group walked towards the parking lot's entrance/exit, about to leave their buddy and Ashley behind.

There was my chance. With the attacker struggling to get Ashley back under control, I made my move. I ran up from behind and cracked the attacker behind his right knee with my pipe.

The guy screamed and buckled to the ground, and I grabbed Ashely.

"There's that fucker!" The rifle guy yelled when he turned around and saw me. "Get them!"

Ashley and I took off, running back towards the side of the building and we almost bumped into Shauna.

Shauna didn't even think twice about stopping to ask what was going on. She just turned and ran with me and Ashley. I could hear some of the gang members from the parking lot running behind us, trying to catch up.

"What do you want with us? Just leave us alone!" Shauna yelled at them.

"You fucked with the wrong people!" One of them shouted back.

I took a very quick glance behind me and saw that two gang members were chasing after us. "Go!" I told Shauna and Ashley. I spun around, swinging the pipe at the guy closest to me. He was shorter than me, and I almost missed him. The end of the pipe connected with the left side of his skull, knocking him down.
