Now That We're Seniors

Shout out to dani_is_happy!! Probably wouldn't have gotten this far without him! Keep your head up, the bad stuff always comes before the good stuff. Always think; the worse it gets, the better it will be later on.

Asher:

"Now that we're men! Hey, Dani sing along with me, but this time replace men with seniors!"

The black haired cat shyly nodded his head. "O-okay Ashie."

I couldn't stop listening to spongebob songs! Koby had been watching it the last few days and now I'm even looking them up on my phone... it's so irritating!

Anyway, so I'm on the bus, sitting next to Dani... on our way to school. But atleast we're going to be seniors now! This is probably the most excited I have ever been to go to school. Well, except for my first day of preschool, but I'm getting off topic.

"Now that we-Dani, I said sing along. Come on!" I playingly punched his shoulder. "Don't be shy! We're seniors now!"

He looked at me with a weird expression. "Then why are we riding the bus?"

"Because I asked you too. And my reasoning is; I want to ride the bus at least once my senior year... and I don't have a car. See, I would've asked Xander, but he's not answering any of my calls or texts. I'm was actually getting worried, but today I shall see him once again. Oh! I'm so excited!"

Dani laughed at me quietly. "You really are just like a kid, you never did grow up, did you?"

I look at him with a silly face. "Uh nope."

"I'm excited too, I can't wait to see my boyfriend."

I couldn't help but burst out laughing. "You mean that really hot guy that doesn't even know you exist?"

He crossed his arms. "I have a plan! Just wait and see."

"Oh okay, sure you do." I slapped him on the back. "Tell me how that works out for ya, okay?"

He glared at me." You can be a real jerk, you know that right?"

I laugh at him. "Duh, don't you know me at all? I mean come on."

Dani rolled his eyes and sighed at me. "Oh, well it looks like we've arrived at hell."

I look over his head, out the window and sure enough, there's the school. "Well, at least it's only one more year of hell." I say before struggling to get my backpack on. "Stupid backpack." I mumbled under my breath.

Dani was laughing at my struggle. Didn't help me any that he already had his bag on, So I was the only one looking like a fool.

Everyone piled off the bus and we made our way to the double doors of the school. They opened up to a short hallway that connected to the cafeteria. As I passed the stage to my right, I spotted Lucy sitting alone.

I sit down next her, but I don't think she realized it. "Hi Lucy."

She nearly jumped out of her fur. "Oh, it's just you-Ash!" She was very nervous.

"What's wrong Lucy?" I asked, rather concerned.

She laughed nervously. "Well... you see... I gotta go!" She said as she scrambled to get up.

I watch her leave and can't help but wonder what that was all about. I shrurged my shoulders and stood up. I went to go turn around and ran into someone's chest. I'm about to say sorry, before I looked up.

"Asher..." his voice was shaky and it looked as if he was about to cry. "I... I can't be with you anymore...."
