How could he kiss her like that in front of me? I don't know why he's doing this, but I'm going to find out today... somehow.

I make my way through the halls searching for that lion. I finally find him as he's walking into the restroom. I maneuver my way through the sea of confusion and casually walk into the restroom.

I lock the door, hoping there was no one else in here. I took a deep breath before turning around and getting a face full of chest. I felt his hand on my cheek as he lifted my head. Xander was... crying. I unconsciously wipe away his tears. Then I pull my hand back. No, he said he didn't want to see me again... so why do I feel this way?

He smiles at me, making my heart melt. "My puppy... I miss you so much." He whispers to me.

I couldn't help it anymore, I throw my arms around him feeling tears swelling in my own eyes. "Really? Then... Then why are you doing this?"

I felt Xander's arms slide across my back. "I'm so sorry that I never got to tell you the truth. My father doesn't want me to be with a dog, of any gender. My brother betrayed me and is making sure I could never be with you, but I just want you to know one thing," He brings his hand up to rest on the back of my head, and whispers in my ear. "I love you."

I tighten my grip around him, not wanting to let go ever again. "I-I love you too." I managed to say before breaking into tears.

He pulls away just enough to were he could see my face. "That is all I could ever ask for." He says before kissing me.

It felt so different... it felt as though it ment so much more than just kiss. It was as if all my worries faded away, that no matter how far apart we where he would always be there. As if he was always there. It felt like... love.

Xander pulled away all to soon. I looked into his mesmerizing red eyes to see something I've never seen before. "Asher..." he starts to say, reaching in his pocket. "now that we are seniors and almost ready to live out in the real world..." he lets go of me and kneels down. "would you... would you marry me?"
