Getting Packed

Asher:

I cram the last of my clothes into my suitcase before hopping on it to close the case. I jumped when I felt Xander grab me from behind. I would've fell off my bed if Xander wasn't holding me.

I shiver as he licks my ear. "Are you done now, little puppy."

I quickly push him off when I heard someone walking to my room. The door opened and Jeff poked his head in. "Hey, Ash, where's my guitar?"

"Uh, I thought it was in the hall closet." I nervously answer.

Jeff opens his mouth to say something then sees Xander stand up, and then closes his mouth. "What's the matter, Jeff?"

He shakes his head and leaves, shutting the door behind him. Xander plopped down beside me. "What's wrong with him?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know, he's not normally like that."

Xander rolled over onto his back. "Oh well. So, you done, puppy?"

I hop off my bed and walk to my dresser. "Yep, I'm finally done." I grab my phone and slip it into my pocket.

I then walked back over to the bed, standing over Xander. I lean down and kiss him. I stood back up and smiled at him. "I've always wanted to do that."

Xander laughs at me. "Your so innocent, and it's so adorable."

I nearly jumped out of my skin when someone knocked on my door. "C-come in." I quickly answered.

The door opened to show mom standing in the doorway. "Are you done packing, sweetie?"

I nodded. "Yes ma'am, just finished."

She smiled at me. "That's good, we're almost ready to go. Now," she stepped into my room. "What do you think of my dress?"

She was wearing a pretty black flowing dress, that really complemented her silky silver blue tail. "I think it's very pretty."

Xander had stood up behind me. "Its gorgeous, if I may say."

Mom blushed. "You guys really think so?"

"Yes." We said in union.

"Oh, you two are so sweet, come here." She waved her arms for a hug.

I hugged her but Xander stayed back. Mom waved her hand for Xander to come over. He slowly made his way over and joined the hug.

Mom pulled back and looked at us both. "Okay then, let's go boys!"

Xander follows her and I grab my bag before following him.

We get all of the bags into the back of the van then pile in. Dad was driving, mom in the passenger seat, Koby and Jeff in the middle seats, and me and Xander in the very back.

After a last minute sound off, we were on our way.

Ash: oh, this'll be so much fun!

Xander: just wake me up when we get there

Asher: *hits his arm* jerk! Don't go to sleep, we can play rode games!

Xander: *sighs* this is going to be a loong trip...
