Xander:
Luckily I had the car today so we hopped in my car and Asher gave me directions to his house.
I pulled into the drive way of a normal looking house, and we both got out. I followed Ash into his house very cautiously.
He glanced back at me and smirked. "Scaredy cat."
I held my tongue. Says the one who's afraid to have sex. I'm scared for a good reason.
Ash lead me into the living room. There was a pretty little wolf girl with brown fur, with puzzles spread out in front of her on the floor.
"Hi big brother. Who's that?" She asked while pointing at me.
Ash petted her head. "This is my friend, Alexander."
She tilted her head. "Aliander?"
I chuckled. "Close enough. What's your name?"
She held out her hand. "I'm Koby."
I shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Koby."
She smiled and let go. "What type of cat are you?"
I smiled at her. "I'm a lion, the king of the jungle."
Koby's eyes widened. "Your a king?"
Ash and I laughed at her. Koby pouted. "What's so funny?"
I stop laughing enough to answer her. "I'm not a real king, it's just what people say about lions."
Koby crosses her arms. "I didn't know. You don't have to be meanies about it and laugh at me like that!"
She looked adorable, almost as much as her brother. Ash tugged on my sleeve. "Come meet my mom, she's in the kitchen."
We leave Koby to her puzzles and go to the kitchen. standing at the stove is a beautiful middle-aged wolf with silver blue fur. her ears twitched when we walked in. "Asher, who is your friend." she said without taking her focus off what she was cooking.
"This is Alexander. He's a lion." Ash answered.
Without breaking stride she turned her head. "I do so apologize, Alexander," Here it comes. "but I didn't know that Ash was bringing home a friend, I don't know if there will be enough to feed you." She gestured to the pot of food she was stirring.
What? She didn't even say anything about me being a cat! "I-its okay."
She turned back to the stove. "No it is not. I'm a horrible host for not having enough food to feed my guest."
"No, it's fine. I am an uninvited guest anyways." I say while staring at my feet.
After a few seconds Ash's mom hugs me. "Sweetie, you have nothing to fear of us. We are a family that does not care about our different races." She strokes my back, motherly like.
I slowly hugged her back. "How did you guess?"
She backed away from me. "I could hear it in your voice. Now why don't you two go to Ash's room and play or whatever." She went back to the stove and started stirring again.
"Come on, this way." Ash said while walking back through the living room.
Ash lead me down a short hallway. There was five doors. Ash pointed to the first one on the right. "That's the bathroom." He pointed to the left first door. "Thats my parents room." We took a step forward. Ash pointed to the second door on the right, which was slightly open with an even smaller version of Ash stood in the doorway.
"Asher I-" he stoped in the middle of his sentence when he saw me. His eyes widened. "Cool! You brought a real-life lion home! Killa!" He held out his hand for a high five and Ash returned it.
Ash pulled me into the second room on the left. "And this," Ash helps his arms out as he sounding the middle of the room, "is MY room."
