Asher:

Throughout the day I was in a trace. I was wondering what Alexander had ment by, 'we'll continue this later.' My mind raced but my body stayed in place.

During eighth period I was so anxious, I was practically on the edge of my seat. When the bell rang I jumped up and ran out the door.

I beat the crowd to the stairs and ran down the hall. I wasn't even thinking about anything but meeting with Alexander.

I skit to a stop by the band hall door. I bent over with my hands on my knees and pant, trying to catch my breath. After I could breathe again I stood up and leaned against the wall.

I glanced over to my side and saw Alexander. I casually put my hands in my pockets and wait for him to come down the hallway. Hurry up already!

Alexander spotted me and picked up his pace slightly. He stoped in front of me. He scratched behind my ear. "Glad you showed up, my little puppy."

I tried to keep a straight face but it didn't work and a smile came across my lips. "You too, Alexander."

He stoped. "Call me Xander, okay?"

I nodded my head. "Okay, but only if you call me Ash."

He smiled. "Whatever you want, Ash."

I melted a little when he said my name out loud. I wanted to kiss him so bad, but I'm afraid that he'd reject me. As if to reassure me, Xander puts his hand against the wall and kisses me. I fell my tail start to wag.

Xander opens his mouth slightly and I follow his lead. My tail starts to wag frantically as Xander slips his tongue into my mouth.

His tongue starts to stroke my own and I return the favor. His mouth tasted like candy, so I started to explore his mouth with my tongue and I felt Xander shiver.

He slowly pulls away. "So how long can you stay out tonight?"

I didn't understand what he was asking. "What do you mean?" I said before I realized what he ment. I blushed. "We just met-we're not even together, together."

"Then why don't we be together, together?"

I was at a loss for words. "I-uh-I-o-okay."

Xander's expression lights up. "You want to?! Really?!"

I nod my head. "Y-yes I do."

Xander hugs me tightly. "This is wonderful!"

I can't help but smile at his excitement. He lets go of me. "So do you wanna go with me?"

I start to panic. "I-I'm not ready. Can't we just take it slow?"

He pouted at me. "Yes, but it's no fun if you drag out the inevitable."

I tilted my head to one side. "Inevitable?"

"What is bound to happen no matter what." Xander said so nerdy-like.

What's weird is that it kind of turned me on. "Okay then, fine. But first we need to get to know each other. Favorite color, food, hobby, you know the norm."

Xander sighs heavily. "Red, grilled cheese, band, go."

I think for a second. "Black, fried chicken, playing the guitar."

Xander seemed surprised by the last one. "Really? You play guitar?"

I nod my head. "For a while now. I'd say I'm pretty good at it myself."

He stroked my head. "You changed the subject. So now we know each other better."

I start to panic again. "But-well lets spend some more time together first. Why don't you come over to my house? How bout that?"

Xander was completely shocked. "You do realize I'm a cat, right?"

I tilted my head. "Yes, so what?"

"Your a dog."

I nodded. "Yes... and your point is?"

He shook his head. "Your parents don't mind if you bring a cat home?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "They never said anything against it when I brought my cat friends over before."

Xander smiled. "Okay then let's go over to your house than."

****************

Okay so yeah, Asher a little scardy cat... how ironic.
