Asher:
Rose and I somehow made it to school on time. After seeing rose like that last night I thought she'd be completely shut off today, but she's as energetic as ever. I didn't dare bring up her sister and ruin this mood, even if it was bad for her to ignore what happened. It was her first day at this school after all. She couldn't come yesterday because mom was still fixing everything.
I glance over at Rose as she taps my shoulder. "You and the lion were together together right? I mean before he did what he did."
I felt a slight pain at her words. Why does she have to be so blunt? "Yes... why?"
She looked past me. "Then that doesn't make any sense."
I follow her gaze to a sight that broke my heart. Xander was with the cat girl, Emily. As soon as Xander saw me he pulled Emily around in front of him... and kissed her.

This is only a filler chapter! That is why it is so short. The next chapter will explain what Xander is going through and that is why I rushed this chapter. So, sorry.
