What are These Feelings

I lay awake on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I touch my lips as I remember how it felt when Alexander kissed me. Why did he do that? I couldn't help but put my finger in my mouth to see if it felt the same. No dice. Fuck!

I quickly sit up and pull my tail in the process. I yelp louder than if want to and hear scrambling outside my door. It slams open and my little sister, Koby rushes in. She looked so adorable with her brown little ears flattened, her brown little tail poofed out, and her lip slightly curled. I hop off my bed and scoop her up. "Arn't you just an adorable little guard dog? Everything's okay, I just sat on my tail."

She giggled as I tickled her tummy. "Big brother! Stop, it tickles!"

I laughed at the way her voice shook between her laughs. "Its suppose to, its called tickling."

I tickle her a little more before setting her down. She looked up at me with her big puppy dog eyes and preceded to beg. "Can I please have the last cookie from your jar? Please big brother?"

I crouched down to be eye level with her. "I don't know... what's in it for me?"

She thought for a second. "You'll be my bestest big brother in the whole world!"

I chuckled a little and pet her head. "Okay then. Sounds good enough to me."

She hugs me tightly around my neck. I strain my voice. "Okay, can't breathe."

She squeezes tighter then let's go. "You funny big brother, thank you for the cookie!" She says before bounding off down the hall.

I watch her until she turns the corner then I shut my door. Such a sweet innocent little girl. I'm so lucky to be her big brother. I go back over to my bed and plop down.

"Why can't these feelings just disappear? I didn't even know you existed until today. Fucking Alexander, why'd you have to do that?" I said to myself. "I think I might be going crazy, I just can't get you out of my head. Ugh!"

I take my pillow and throw it against the wall. It bounces back and hits me on the head. I pull it off my head and lay on it. This is you, Alexander. Watch me suffocate you. Then how are you going to kiss me? That's right you won't... not unless you want to. I shake my head roughly. No! Don't think like that! I close my eyes tightly, trying not to think of him.

"Ash, dinners ready!" I heard my mom yell through the door.

Maybe food is the answer of getting my mind straight. I groaned as I roll out of bed. I opened the door and the strong smell of chicken instantly hits my nose. My mouth starts to salivate as I rushed down the hall.

There was three buckets of KFC fried chicken on the table. Koby, Jeff (my younger brother), and my parents where already sitting down and waiting for me.

I enjoyed a 'nice' dinner with my family before going back to my room to wonder about Alexander again.
