WRITER'S NOTE: hello everyone! i hope you're all doing well and staying healthy. i am sorry if there are spelling or grammatical mistakes, i write for fun and i was originally updating my story privately to some friends of mine when i decided to post it on Wattpad. there are photos to help you create the character and see the type of setting i was aiming for. i hope this helped you see things in the story better since i'm not the greatest at describing things.

i will be thankful to any feedback you have and i apologise of some parts of the story don't make much sense. i am still trying to figure out the direction of the story since it is still being written. i will try to upload every friday night when i'm not busy studying otherwise i will upload it a day late on Saturday.

Alluro is the YOU, the reader, so imagine her as you like keeping in mind the said descriptions of her. i'm sorry if none of the pictures help since i have written her as a girl, but i hope it doesn't stop you from enjoying the story.

as you read i may add photos that will help build the characters a little more. if you are wondering where i created the characters i used a website called picrew.

all the photos i use asides from the character were all found on the internet through a google search. i don't remember exactly what i searched up to find them, but all credits of the photos go to their respective owners, i do not own the photos.

everything written here is all made up and is all fantasy. i also do not research prior to some of the terms i use in the story so i do not know exactly if it can be done or not, but i hope it makes sense. like i said it is all made up.

thank you for reading my book!

VINCENT:

She's a good driver. That's one thing about her. Cruising at around 150km/hr and winning at over 320km/hr. She's better than Connor and she's not even considered an animal because of the story. She must be doing something right to be able to work here, right? I already declined Monty because I know nothing about cars which is true, but when I said that he offered me a different job that I can do in the Racehouse which I also refused. I don't want to work here. it would be nice to be near Alluro, but it's not convenient for me to get here on my own, plus the hours he gave me weren't the greatest.

Alluro decided that it would be good to go to school. I wasn't too happy about it. So, she's taking me somewhere high. I've always liked high places. The view is nice, except there aren't many high places. I bounce in my seat as she drives over uneven ground uphill, downhill and then through a small river. She parks and we get out. She tosses me a pouch of chalk which I clip onto my pants. She takes a bag and walks off. I want to follow her, but I don't know. She comes back and leads me by my hand.

"Alluro Kitsune."

"Hold on. We're not getting married at what seventeen?"

"No, no, no, no. I didn't mean it like that. Kitsune is a common surname for foxes."

"The Gift of God is as sweet as a rose."

The Gift of God is as sweet as a rose. The Gift of God is as sweet as a rose. Such a lovely meaning. Alluro. Ally – The Gift of God. I must have been out of my mind. Alluro Kitsune. She thought I was talking about marriage. I wouldn't mind it. It's a lie. Kitsune isn't a common surname amongst foxes. She only sees me as a friend. Not as anything else. A friend would be a wild guess or just something I tell myself. She probably sees me as a child she needs to protect. That's why she's doing this for me. she can probably hear this too. Whatever. Nothing is ever private anymore. Not peeing is private. Not even at home. Not even my thoughts are. I question why I am still–

"We're here." Alluro's voice cuts in.

I look up to see a massive waterfall. When she said high. She said high. I couldn't see the top of it clearly.

So, what was the chalk for?

"We're climbing up to the top." Alluro says looking up at the rocks, "You have chalk, you'll be fine."

"Climbing?" I asked surprised, "We're climbing to the top of this thing?"

"Yes. It's easy to climb up."

"For you, it is. For me? No." I shake my head.

"Well, then just wait here until I get back." She says defiantly.

"No. No, I am not letting you climb this, Ally."

She doesn't respond just starts climbing. Higher and higher. I have no choice but to follow her. I chalk my hands and start climbing. What seems like eternity is only ten metres off the ground before we stop. There's a small gap in the rocks where she's sitting.

"Took you long enough. Rest for a little, then we'll keep going. We have a bit more to go until the top." She says looking straight ahead.

"A bit more to the top?" I puff, "How much is a bit more?"

"Until you can't see the ground."

I sit. Stare at her in confusion and disbelief before looking in the same direction as her. You can see the top of the trees. Nothing special. The waterfall is right next to us yet somehow, we aren't wet. After a few minutes pass Ally gets up and continues climbing. I follow. There are loose rocks. I nearly fall - several times. I stop where I am and call out to Ally to slow down so I can see where she puts her hands and feet. We're three quarters of the way. She's practically jumping for place to place while I'm not. Is she that much shorter than me? To think of it, I've never seen her stand straight before. She has either leaning on one leg or she's bent over. A rock falls loose under my hand.

"Whoa!" The words come out of my mouth before I know it.

"Are you okay?" Ally shouts.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine."

"We're nearly there. Just a little further."

I reposition myself and continue climbing. I manage to reach Ally who's taken a break to let me catch up. We keep climbing. She moves on ahead of me. She's leaping again. It's cute. I can see the top of the mountain now. I look over my shoulder to see how high up we are. You can see the city from here. I turn back and reach out for another spot when my leg gives out.

"Ally!" I shout, "Help!"

She turns to look down at me at the sound of her name, but it's too late. My hand slips and I fall. I remember feeling wind rushing against my ears. Watching her jump from the mountain side to me. I feel a weird pain in my hands. Was it from climbing? Every ache in my body. Every muscle. Every fibre of my being. She won't reach me in time. I guess this is how I die. I blink, but it feels so slow. Like time has stopped. She gets closer and closer, but not close enough to reach me. I don't remember hitting the ground. Just darkness.
