WRITER'S NOTE:  Hello! just letting you all know that in this chapter and the next few chapters, there is what seems to be 'torture' but isn't. (I'm not too sure how to put what I'm saying into words, but I hope it make sense)

VINCENT:

School passed. A few days felt like centuries. She still hadn't returned. I was worried. It was starting to build too. My worry turned into stress and then it turned into anger, but now it just turned back into worry.

Maybe I'll go visit her at Bruce's house. See if she's okay, but only after stopping by the Racehouse.

I run out of school, drop by my house to change and make way to the Racehouse.

"Can I speak to Osiris Morrida, please?" I ask the receptionist politely trying to control my panting.

"Sure, just take this and walk down the corridor on your right and through the fifth door on your left and you'll get the workshop. He'll be in the fourth section from the closest wall to you." She says happily handing me a card.

I thank her and walk quickly following her directions.

"Alluro? She hasn't been here for the past week. Poor Connor been so bored lately, that he doesn't even get in the car without being forced. Lost one ain't he?" Osiris laughs nervously.

"Oh, thank you for letting me know." I reply sadly.

"Kid, if you want to look for her maybe try Bruce's house. If you go there, just say i sent you and they won't question it. She'll probably be there if she's not here. She won't be at the beach at this time of day."

"Okay. Thanks again Mr Morrida." I call out.

"Kid, it's Osiris. Nobody calls me Mr Morrida. It sounds weird. Tell her I said hi." He says with concern in his voice.

"Okay Osiris." I correct.

I return the card to the receptionist who tells me to keep hold of it, so I do. I remember the way to Alluro's house. I turn up to the front gate and press the doorbell. From the speaker booms a voice.

"Name?"

"Vincent Kitsune. I'm here to see Alluro. Osiris sent me." I say in a clear voice.

The gate opens and I walk in. I'm greeted at the front door by a set of twins.

"Bro, it's that dead dude Alluro carried in." One of the says excitedly.

"I know, except...he's...not...dead." The other says with the same amount of excitement.

"Hi. Is Alluro home?" I ask slowly unsure about how to ask.

"Yes, you can go wait in her room," One of them replies, "You remember where it is, right?"

I nod and walk up the stairs to her room. Something feels off or strange. I don't know how to describe it, but it feels like this pit. There's a pit inside of me. Inside my chest making it hard to think or breathe or move. This pit it feels light. Like there's nothing in it, yet at the same time I know there is. There's something inside. I don't know if it's supposed to feel this way. I thought that it would feel heavier or different. I don't know how to explain it. I open her door. Her room...it's...messy. The bed sheet is all torn. Her mattress is destroyed. The books from her bookcase are all over the floor. There's water on the floor. I can hear water dripping coming from the bathroom. It feels like forever has passed just looking at her room. The pit inside me starts to feel bigger like it wants to swallow me up. I walk to the bathroom and turn the taps tight.
