TW: HOT SEX, MENTION OF RAPE
She rests her forehead against mine and closes her eyes. I wonder what she's thinking about. I close my eyes with her and stand in silence in the cool water. I want to hold her closer to me. I don't ever want to let her go. My tightness in my pants isn't letting up either, but I don't want to hurt her.
"That boy lying in the hospital bed. He got too close to me, and he ended up having an accident that left him in a coma for five years and six months already. Maybe seven months, I can't remember anymore. I don't want that to happen to you." She whispers after a long pause of silence between us.
"He wasn't a fox, right?" I ask carefully.
"He was a bird."
I hold her tighter. In the animal world here, birds are quite rare to find and if you happen to meet one, you have to be careful not to hurt them. If you cause a small injury, it can affect them for the rest of their life or for a much longer period that you think. You can't mate with them either since they lay eggs and not give birth to live animals. That's why, they tend to keep to themselves. Sometimes you find them wandering around the fox district on their way back home since our streets are quiet. They're also the worst type of animal too, they expect the best type of care and treatment since they think they are better than everyone else. They can fly, but it isn't anything special since we have planes and parachutes, so I don't see why they think they're better.
"You didn't do anything wrong, Ally. It's over, if he wants to keep living, he will wake up, but if he's given up then it's his choice too."
She nods with her forehead still touching mine, "I know, but someone needed to take the blame, so I did. There are many things you don't know about this world, Vincent. Somethings are harder to see than others and some are easier."
"Ally, not to ruin the mood or anything but can you stop whispering please. I'm still hard and it's getting uncomfortable for me." I laugh awkwardly.
"What do you want me to do about it?" She asks, letting out a small breath of laughter and a smile play on her face.
We've both opened our eyes. When she smiles, she looks scary at first, but as you look at her longer, you realise that part of it is forced, and some parts are trying their hardest to give you a genuine and sincere smile.
"So beautiful." I whisper admiring her face.
I bring my hand up to cup her cheek. She leans into my touch ever so slightly. Her face is so cold. Even though we've been standing her for a while, her face is like ice. I guess, mine would be too.
"Enough to scare people away, if that's what you mean." She says pointing out the obvious.
"You're not scary at all. If only you could see yourself the way I look at you."
"It's funny, hearing it from you. Everyone says when I smile, I look evil and when I don't smile, I still look evil, yet you just said I was beautiful. I guess, we understand love and beauty differently."
"What do you mean?" I shiver.
"Come on," She laughs, "I'll tell you more when we dry off. I have spare clothes and a towel in my car."
