The feeling of dying settles in. The air is too thick to breathe. The world is too bright. I feel hot, like my body is on fire. I can feel every detail, every groove, every hole, every stitch, every piece of thread used to make the sheets on my bed. I can smell the sun. I can smell the sun. It's embedded in the sheets and blankets. It's everywhere. I feel so heavy. There's too much noise. It's too loud. It hurts. It hurts. Stop, no. Stop shouting, stop touching me, stop moving, stop breathing, stop just stop everything. I breathe heavily. Just...stop. I remember feeling pain and darkness take over my body. The fire burns within me, but I know...I know that I have to do this. To live. To live in this world. To survive.
