Since I wasn't allowed to renter the tent so Abby and her assistant doctor Jackson could work on Raven, I made myself comfortable my the entrance just incase something happened to her. "Aysel May?" I looked up from where I was fiddling with my nails, Kane. I stood up so I was face to face with him and nodded. "We were told you were dead." He said. "Yeah well, they tried." I replied, referring to the grounders. "Do you mind if we talk?" He ushered me to sit back down, I knew he wasn't actually asking so I did as I was told, he sat down next to me. "Do you have any information as to where your friends might be?" Really, that's what he wanted to ask, it's like he thought I was the one behind all this or something. "I have no idea... I woke up and the camp was empty, except for Raven." I recalled. "Why weren't you with the others?" He carried on interrogating. "The others needed time to get to the dropship so stayed back to hold the grounders off." He stared at me for a moment, "You could have died!" I hadn't even thought about that, I just did it with no second thought. "Yeah..." I paused, "Why do you care?" I knew it probably wasn't a smart idea to argue with the man but I couldn't help it. "What?" "You sent us all down here to die, so why do you care now?" He looked down at the ground and didn't respond. Instead he stood up, "Thank you for your time miss May." He turned away, "wait!" I called out after him. "My father? Is he alive?" I needed to know if he was truly gone. "I'm sorry... he was killed in the culling." A single tear fell from my eye but I wiped it away quickly, he was gone and there was nothing I could do about it.

Constant screams were erupting from the medical tent and radiating over the camp. Hearing Raven like this, and not being able to help her made me feel sick. The sun had set when Finn came over to me, "We are leaving." He stated. "What?" "Kane refuses to sent out a search party, We need to go get Bellamy out of lockup." He explained and that was enough to get me on board. We quickly rounded up Monroe and Sterling who had been the only other two to not go missing. All four of us then snuck through the ark corridors until we made it to lockup. "You three keep lookout!" Finn whispered before disappearing through the door. Sterling tip tied down the corridor so he could see anyone who came round the corner, I stood in the middle of the corridor between him and the door where Monroe was stood at.

As soon as I saw Sterling signal that someone was coming I passed on the message. Suddenly Finn and Bellamy rushed out, Murphy aswell except his hands were cuffed. "Why the hell is he here?" I asked Bellamy who was pushing him along, "We might need him!"
We quickly rushed out the ark and found an open space where the fence hadn't been put up yet, we then snuck across until we were safely hidden in the tree line. Suddenly I was blinded by a flashlight and had to squint to see. There stood Abby and a guard. My heart started racing, we had been caught. "Your late." She said. What? "Bellamy decided to bring company." Finn replied as he stepped to the side so the Councillor could see Murphy. "Here..." she handed the rifle that was in her hands over to Bellamy, the guard next to her pulled off a rope from over his shoulder, on the end, tied to it were several guns which he handed out to each of us, except Murphy of course. "Go find your friends!" Abby said before the two of them disappeared away.

We walked for hours and I was beginning to lose hope, somewhere along the line Finn decided he trusted Murphy enough to take his cuffs off. Just then I felt an all to familiar feeling, as I looked around everything seemed to come back to me. "We are here!" I said just loud enough for everyone to hear. I jogged ahead a little bit before ducking down behind a fallen tree, everyone quickly joined me. Infront of us many buildings stood with grounders all around, we were at the village. I scoped in with my gun and scanned the area for any sign of our people. "All I see is grounders!" Bellamy took the words right out of my mouth. "Wait a minute, they have stuff from the dropship!" Finn exclaimed. One grounder caught my eye, he had a huge blade in his hand and was sorting through a pile of stuff from our ship. "Son of a bitch!" Both me and Finn exclaimed in unison. "What?" "The guy with the one eye," Finn said. Clearly he was looking at the same guy as me. "He has Clarke's watch, it was her dads!" "There's no way she would give that away without a fight!" Bellamy caught on. "That means they know where our friends are!" He said.

Bellamy grabbed Murphy and pulled him away, taking Finn aswell. "If this thing goes south, take out the grounders, but don't kill the one with the watch!" He ordered before leaving me, Monroe and Sterling alone. "What are they going to do?" Stirling asked. "I have no idea."

A few more minutes past and Finn appeared, "Come on!" He ushered us to follow him and we did. He led us to a bunker hidden in the ground, when we climbed down through the darkness the one eyed grounder knelt on the floor infront of Bellamy. "I'll wait outside." I said turning back to the ladder. "What why?" Bellamy asked. "Because that is the grounder who held a burning knife too her skin." Murphy answered for me. Without another word I climbed up and closed the hatch below me. I knew that she if I stayed in there with the fully loaded gun that I was holding in my hands, I would do something I would regret. To the left of the hatch was a large Boulder that I sat down on, whatever they were doing to that man it could take a while.

I was sat there for a good twenty minutes when the others finally came back up. "We go East!" Bellamy said before leading the way. Finn was clearly in a much bigger rush than us because he started to run ahead. After a while Murphy had had enough. "I can't keep running! We don't even know if the guy Finn killed is telling the truth!" He said. "Killed?" I questioned but was ignored. Finn and Bellamy began arguing but I wasn't listening, I was too distracted by what I saw on the ground infront of us. "Hey guys..." everyone looked to where I was pointing. A limp hand lay still sticking out from a bush, when I stepped closer I saw the rest of the body, and then another. "Holy shit!" We were surrounded by corpses. We began walking the path again this time with our guns aimed. More and more bodies were lying in our way. "Where the hell did they come from?" "The ark..."

Eventually we slowly made our way to the edge of a cliff, down at the bottom where the remains of part of the ark. "That's a rough landing." Just as we were turning away a loud cry came from over the edge. "Someone's down there!" Monroe exclaimed. When I looked over the edge, on a small landing, hanging onto a small tree was a girl. "Mel?" Sterling called out. "Help me!" She cried out once she noticed we were here. Before anyone could say anything Sterling had tied a rope to a tree branch and then around his waist. He was already lowering himself over the edge. I heard Finn curse him out beside me which confused me a little. It took Sterling a while to get down but once he made it to her level I could see he reach out. I looked to the rope that was tied to the tree and saw it slipping slightly. Without a second though I lunged at the rope and grabbed it calling out for help, but it was too late. The rope slipped straight through my hands and I heard a loud thud as Sterling fell to a painful death. Shit!

Without giving Monroe the time to grieve her friend Finn started up again, "We need to leave now! We don't have another rope!" "Then we make one!" Bellamy contradicted, and he set off to work finding a new rope, soon enough he was the one being lowered down, this time with all of us holding onto our end.

He made it down easy enough but pulling them both up was where the struggle began. Our feet slipping on the dirt below our feet made it difficult to pull. Suddenly the rope snapped and Murphy was forced to hold on by himself, with one hand he held the end of the rope still tied to the tree and with the other he held the rope holding Bellamy and Mel. Quickly we all rushed to help and grabbed back onto the rope. Just as we began with making steady progress several arrows shot through the sky. "Grounders!" Monroe shouted and Finn hurriedly threw a gun into her hands, she let go of the rope and began shooting towards the tree line. When one arrow was shot through the air and directly hit her in the leg I was forced to let go of the rope and grab my own gun. I aimed towards the trees but I couldn't see anything, I saw slight movement and began spraying my bullets towards it. I think I must have got at least one of them before a loud horn echoed over us and the arrows stopped. "Fog! Hurry up!" Both me and Monroe grabbed the rope once more and eventually we managed to haul the two back onto solid ground.
Everyone took their time catching their breath and we all started to worry about taking cover from the acid fog. "Bellamy?" A familiar voice called out, Octavia stepped out from behind a bush and immediately the two siblings embraced in a hug.

Octavia busied herself with Monroe's wound. "We need to move!" Finn came over to us. "The arrow could be poisoned, I need to get her back to camp." Bellamy said. "Ok, I'll carry on them, meet me if you can." Finn said, handing a map he had drawn over to Bellamy before turning and jogging away. "Guess this is goodbye then!" Murphy started following him. "Where are you going?" "If I go back there I'll just be locked up!" Bellamy to my surprise didn't argue, instead he threw Murphy a gun and nodded. Murphy turned and ran after Finn. And with that me, Bellamy, Octavia, Monroe and Mel began our journey back to the ark.
