Y/N: Oh. Ow.

You groaned as you sat up in bed. Who knew that fighting the Rhino after getting your butt kicked by Spider-Man would make you so sore.

Mayday: You've been groaning all night, dude. Give it a rest.

Y/N: Ah. Yes. Let me just tell the pain to go away.

Mayday's head popped out from the top bunk as she glared at you.

Mayday: I'm sore, too. You don't see me complaining.

You just looked at her.

Mayday: Forget I said anything.

She dissapered back to her bed before she jumped down. You sat up and rubbed your head.

Mayday: So, how was your little date last night?

You thought back on the previous night, and blushed.

Y/N: Uh, g-good.

Mayday: Oh......did you guys...

Y/N: No! No we didn't..uh...do that. We just watched a movie, ate some snacks, told her I'm Spider-Man, made out, then I got to meet her mother.

Mayday: Oh. So things went what did you just say you did?!

You quickly stood up and held up your hands.

Y/N: We can trust her! Plus, I only told her that I was Spider-Man and that you guys knew. That was it.

Mayday: You could've talked to us about it first!

That was......yeah she had a point. But, to be fair, it was your secret identity. Not hers. Plus, no one even knew Mayday had powers outside of the group.

Mayday: Dude, what if she tells her dad? Or worse, let's it slip to the other nerds you go to school with?!

Y/N: Okay, first off, Mr. Stark probably already knows. And if he doesn't, then he won't figure it out. I mean, come on. And secondly, she doesn't even talk to anyone at school. I'm her only friend.

Mayday: Wow. That's sad.

Y/N: Right?! But she's cool. Trust me.

Mayday just rolled her eyes.

Mayday: Whatever. It's your life.

She waved it off and left the room you shared. You just sighed and looked over at your destroyed costume. You were trying to fix it, but it was really messed up.

As in the wiring was torn, the fabric was burnt in some places, and the eye glass was just completely destroyed.

There was no hope in fixing it. You'll have to start from square one. Looks like you'll have to deal with the homemade suit.

You shook your head and headed out into the living room where your mom was already finishing up her breakfast. She didn't have to go into work today, so she would be home while you headed to the hideout with Normie.

The New
SPIDER-MAN

Y/N: Morning, mom.

MJ: Good morning, cub. Rough day yesterday?

You froze at the fridge and slowly turned around. She was smiling, but she had an extremely dark aura surrounding her. It was like you were looking at a demon just waiting to hatch from its mortal skin.

It was terrifying.

Y/N: Uh, y-yeah?

MJ: Sit. Tell me all about it.
