Normie tossed an inactive bomb into the air and caught it. He was waiting in the lounge room for Mayday to finish what she was doing in the lab.
Mayday: How does this fit so perfectly?
Normie: I honestly guessed based on the clothes you wore. Medium, right?
Mayday: You know what size I wear?
Normie chuckled a bit.
Normie: Honestly guess. How is it coming along?
Mayday: Where did you even get this?
Normie: I made it. Duh.
He heard Mayday laugh a bit. Robbie returned to the lounge from the garage and sat on the arm of the chair. It was the day after you left with the V-252 still bonded with your body. Everyone was worried, but they couldn't just sit around and do nothing.
Mayday: Get ready, boys.
Normie and Robbie looked up as Mayday stepped out in her new costume. Normie found his heart racing while Robbie raised a brow.
Mayday: Meet New York's newest hero.
The New
SPIDER-GIRLMayday swung through the city with a smile on her face.
Mayday: This is actually really fun!
She cheered as she did a backflip midair before she continued swinging. The webshooters were a lot like her old grapple hooks and the wings that Normie had installed into her costumes allowed her to glide for short amounts of time.
She landed ontop of a building and looked around.
Normie: I take it that you like it?
Mayday turned around and found her friend approaching her on his glider. He was in his Hobgoblin gear with his helmet covering his face. He activated it to reveal his smile which made Mayday smile in return.
Mayday: A bit. Still on the line about the whole saving people thing. People still suck.
Normie shrugged before they heard a cry from below. Mayday walked over to the edge of the building and spotted a high speed chase heading down the street.
Normie watched as she jumped down without a second though. He smiled.
Normie: I knew it ran in the family.
He activated his helmet against and flew after her. Mayday dropped ontop of the car just as it passed by. She stuck herself to the side of the car and punched through the window which scared the driver.
