Normie: Ah!
You heard a spark and turned around to see Normie shaking his hand around. A small trail of smoke appeared from the cloaking device that you both had been working on.
You wanted to get it working again since you kinda needed to get into a highly secured tower. Being able to turn invisible would be very useful.
Y/N: You okay, dude?
Normie looked at the device and sighed.
Normie: Yeah. Circuit got fried. I'll need a new one.
As if on cue, your lab door opened and Morgan walked in. Horizon did have locks on their doors, but you weren't technically working in Spider-Man stuff so you didn't bother with it. Plus, Morgan had already let you know beforehand that she was going to stop by.
Y/N: Hey.
Morgan smiled at you and turned to Normie. She set her bag down and pulled some stuff out before setting them down on the desk. Normie looked at the equipment impressed.
Morgan has been very supportive of your activities as Spider-Man since you told her. So supportive, in fact, that she has been helping you and Normie with new equipment and tech. It definitely helped and you were extremely grateful for it.
Normie: Thanks a million, Mini Stark.
Morgan: Y-You're welcome.
You smiled. She has gotten a bit better with talking to people since she was now kinda part of the group. Faye had invited her and Mayday out for smoothies over at Jersey City with Vivian. She, surprisingly, agreed.
You were very proud of her.
Morgan picked her bag up and walked over to your desk. She set down a soda on your desk which caught you by surpise.
You picked it up and looked at it before you smiled at her.
Y/N: Thanks.
Morgan just smiled.
You stood up to grab a tool you needed but Morgan grabbed your sleeve. You turned to her to see that she was looking at Normie as he switched out the parts to the cloaking device.
She then turned back to you and signaled for you to lean down. She must have something she wanted to tell you.
You leaned down, but you were surpised when she suddenly kissed your cheek. You looked at her to see that her cheeks were now red.
However, you both failed to notice that someone else was standing in the open door.
Henry narrowed his eyes, and walked away.

You packed your things up in your bag as you got ready to go to lunch with Henry and Nadia. Normie was going to be busy working with Anya on a joint project, so you were flying solo.
You pulled on your bag just as the lab door opened. However, to your surpise, it was Max.
Y/N: Hm? Oh, hey, Max.
Max: Hello, Y/N. Do you think you have a moment to discuss something?
You nodded. You still had some time until you had to meet up with the siblings. You sat down while Max leaned on Normie's desk.
Max: So, you may have heard already, but a project I was working on had recently been taken to Empire State.
