MARTY WAVED AT his parents who were on the dance floor as he lifted the guitar off over his head. "Come on, hey let's do another one!" Marvin says just as Marty's about to leave. "Oh, no that's okay I really have to—" he stopped when he realized the crowd was cheering. They were actually cheering. For him!

"Something that really cooks!" Marvin smirked. "Something that...cooks, huh?" Marty smirks, getting an idea. "Alright!" The crowd cheered even louder as he got back up on the stage and Rosanna couldn't help but to feel proud of him. This was the moment he had always wanted, to be able to play up on a stage for people who loved his music.

"Alright, uh, this one's an oldie..." he stopped when he noticed the crowd looking at him strangely. "Well, it's an oldie...where I come from." He says, then turns to the band. "Alright, this one's a blues riff in B, watch me for the changes and try to keep up ok?" Marty begins to then play Johnny B Goode, the band following along with his cues.

Rosanna couldn't help but to dance along a little to his music, he was pretty good. But she would never let him know that.

As George and Lorraine danced, a couple past by them. One guy said; "hey, George! Heard you laid out Biff! Nice going!" "Thanks!" He replies with a smile. "George, you ever think of running for class President?" The man's girlfriend asked him. Marty continued to play his music and he smiled a little when he saw Rosanna dancing, too.

That's when Marty began to get a little too excited, and started playing some heavy rock n roll riffs towards the ending of the song. He kicked down the speaker, jumped all around the stage and everything as if he were playing in a Metallica concert. However once he played the last cord, everyone stared at him and the whole room was silent.

He got up and felt himself turn a little red once he realized the room was quiet. "Uhm...guess you guys aren't ready for that yet..." he gulps awkwardly as he hands the guitar back to Marvin, who looks at it perplexed. How the heck did this boy just do that?

"But your kids are gonna love it!" He says, before quickly exiting the stage. Just as Marty left, Rosanna left the school too and went in search for Doc. Marty stops as he reaches the bottom of the stairs seeing Lorraine and George. "Lorraine!" He says. "Marty! That was uhm, very...interesting music," she says. "Uh, yeah—" Marty replies.

"Listen, Marty. I hope you don't mind but George asked if he could take me back home." She tells him. "Great! Good!" Marty exclaims, his face lighting up upon hearing this. He's finally did it! "Good, Lorraine! I have a good feeling about you two!" He smirks. "Yeah, me too!" She smiles as George puts her coat on for her.

"Listen, I gotta go.  But, I just wanted to let you know that it's been...educational," he smiles. Lorraine smiled back. "Marty, will we ever see you again?" She questioned. "Guarantee it!" He nods. "Well, Marty I want to thank you for all your good advice. I'll never forget it," George says, going in to shake Marty's hand. "Right, George. Well, good luck you guys! Oh, and one other thing," Marty turns back around just as he was about to leave.

"If you guys ever have kids some day, and one of them accidentally sets the living room carpet on fire...go easy on him," he says with a smirk. "Okay," George smiled and waved as he left.

Meanwhile, Rosanna just found Doc. "Damn, where are those kids?!" Doc mumbled to himself. "Doctor Brown!" She calls out. "Rosanna! Thank God. Is Marty with you?" He asks her. "No, he's still back at the school I think. But I thought he left," she tells him as she helps him uncover the Delorean. "Oh Great Scott! The storms about to roll in!" Doc says, looking at the sky which lighting flashed around.

Marty then came running over a couple minutes later. "Doc!!!" He yelled. "Marty! You're late! Do you have no concept of time?!" Doc exclaims. "Hey, listen I had to change! What, you think I was gonna go back in that, that zoot suit?" He says. "The old man really came through, it worked!" Marty tells Doc.

"What?" Doc questions. "He laid out Biff in one punch! I never knew he had it in him! He never stood up to Biff in his life!" Marty exclaims. "Never?" Doc asks. "No. Why? What's the matter?" Marty replies. However he only shakes his head in response. "Alright, let's set your destination time. This is the exact time you left. I'm gonna send you back at exactly the same time. It'll be like you never left." Doc explains as he punches in the time and date onto the keypad.

"Now, I painted a white line on the street way over there. That's where you start from. I've calculated the distance and wind resistance fresh to active from the moment the lightning strikes at exactly 7 minutes and 22 seconds. When this alarm goes off you hit the gas." Doc explains.

"Right," Marty says with a sigh. "Well, I guess that's everything!" Doc says. "Thanks," Marty says. "Thank you!" Doc replies. "In about 30 years?" He adds. "I hope so..." Marty says, trying not to feel upset. "Don't worry! As long as you hit that wire with the connecting hook at precisely 88 miles per hour, the instant the lightning strikes the clock tower, everything will be fine." Doc explains.

"Right..." Marty says. "Come on, Marty!" Rosanna calls from inside the Delorean already. "I wanna go home!" "One second!" Marty replies back to her. "I'll be there in a minute!"

Doc then pulls out Marty's letter from his pocket. "What's this?!" Doc shouts over the loud wind. "You'll find out in 30 years!" Marty replies. "It's about the future, isn't it?!" Doc shakes his head. "Wait a minute, Doc!" Marty says.

"It's information about the future, isn't it?!" Doc shouts above the wind. "I warned you about this, kid! The consequences could be disastrous!" Doc protests. "But that's a risk you're gonna have to take, your life depends on it!" Marty argued him, raising his voice as well over the wind.

"No!!! I refuse to accept the responsibility of this action!" "Well, in that case I'll just tell you straight out!" Marty shouts, and just as he does a tree branch collapses right on top of the wire, snapping it in half. "Great Scott!!! You get the cable, I'll throw the rope down to you!" Doc tells him.

Marty, come on Marty! Where are you?! Rosanna was beginning to get impatient and honestly was about to leave without him. "Right I got it!" Marty calls out. Marty hoped this plan would work. He really needed to get back home.
