"Phew that was a close call".

Shay couldn't agree more. They had managed to get away from the hut and the herd of demons who had been trailing them for a while. After several attempt it seemed like they had survived the worse. Shay had never seen so many demons assembled at one place and even though he was a fighter at heart, even he had to admit it would be suicide to take that herd on.

"But what about Yuya?" Yuto uttered rather frantically as he was fighting like hell in Shay's grip "We can't just leave him there!".

"Trust me. Yuya is strong on his own. Don't sell your brother short" Sorano replied in a firm tone.

He was currently carrying Gili Sakaki in his arms as he was looking around, trailing, scouting and making sure no demon could follow their trail. Shay was impressed with Sorano's skills in being undetected. Aster phoenix once had a course in that exact subject which he might have failed. Sure, it might have been boring as heck that times, but who knew tracking and keeping their spiritual pressure low was the right way to go here? If he ever survived this ordeal, he owed high priest phoenix an apology.

"I am not selling him short. If this were a normal event, I knew he could take care of himself, but this is Iggy Arlo we are talking about. He is obsessed with my brother" Yuto countered and were once fighting like hell.

"Yuto contain yourself!" Shay ended up shouting, making the purple/black haired male stop surprised up looking at him "You are weak! All you would do is slow Yuya down and make him worried about you. Then he will lose to this Iggy".

"I... I didn't think about that" Yuto mused slowly and this time he let himself get dragged by Shay once again. All which made Shay sigh deeply.

"Do you ever. It is just like when we were training together once. You were more worried about everyone else besides yourself" he then said and then suddenly stopped up and looked firmly at Yuto "Now we are at it, why haven't you recovered already? You are in the demon realm. Shouldn't you be all energies by just being here?".

"Shay, it is not that simple..." Yuto began but got interrupted by Shay.

"Then explain it to me! How am I able to help you if you won't tell me what...?".

"Oh, that is easy. Yuto just needs to feast on..." Sorano began explaining.

"We don't have time to stand here and talk. We need to find some more secluded place for us to rest at" Yuto interrupted with a firm tone and grabbed Shay's hand and dragged away with him without any explanation.

Time skip.

"Salt?! Why in the world are you carrying salt?" Sorano hissed angrily as he glared fiercely at Shay with betrayed eyes. All Shay could do was shrug casually.

"For an occasion just as this. Saya handed me some before we left. In case we needed some" he responded with, which made Sorano hiss.

"But... but it hurts! Like shit and... you do know you are caging us in!" the demon sneered "Why would you do that? We can't defend...".

"True, but no demon can come inside either" Yuto pointed out and pointed at the entrance hall to this cave they had found. That only made Sorano hiss even more.

"I am a demon! A full bloody demon. It is like being trapped in a cage!" he yelled.

"How else can we protect Gili until she wakes up? By not sleeping 24/7? Even us demons need rest once in a while" Yuto lectured which only enraged Sorano more.
