Chapter 45

After hours in my office, I finally got some work done and decided to go down to the basement to see if Samantha got any information out of Mia

I looked at my phone and saw 25 missed calls and 18 new messages from Mera

Shit

I looked at the time and saw that it was 8:30pm and called her back

"Ryder" she said in a worried tone and by the sound of her voice I can tell that she was asleep

"Hey baby girl, are you okay?"

"Yes. Where are you?"

"I'm still at the house but I'll be at there in the next hour and a half just have something to finish"

"Ok be careful" she said and hung up

Sigh

When I got to the basement, I saw a bloody Mia on the floor, she had bruises all over her body and blood running from her face while the girls were standing over her

"Did you get anything out of her?"

"A lot" Olivia said smirking

"Tell the boss what you told us"

"Hayden is going to take your child from you then kill Tamera while you watch. He also has someone on the inside who is very close to you guys" Mia said wincing in pain and my blood began to boil

"Who is it?" I said in a low tone and she chuckled

I grabbed her hair and she screamed out in pain

"WHO IS IT?" I shouted at her and she stopped with fear in her eyes

"I don't know he never told me all I know is that he knows where they are right now and he's going to finally give that bitch what she deserves" she whispered with a smirk on her face

"Kill her" I said walking out

"No no Ryder don't do-"

BANG!!

Then there was silence

I went up to my room and grabbed everything that I would be needing and dial Tamera. She wasn't picking up and I started to panic so I dial her again then it went straight to voicemail

"FUCKKKK"

"What's wrong?" Hunter said coming up to me with a gun in his hand

"Mera isn't picking up the phone"

"I'll call Luke and see if everything is okay"

"Okay, do that then meet me downstairs in the car"

Tamera's POV

I called Ryder after I woke up from my nap and he told me that he would be here in the next hour and a half so I hung up and went to the bathroom to take a shower

After I was done, I got out to find a note on the bed

I'm coming for you. H:-)

What the fuck?

I started to panic and put on my clothes in a hurry then ran downstairs

"LEO!"

"LUKE!" I shouted both their names and they came running towards me

"Where are the kids"? I asked terrified

"In the kitchen. Why?" Leo asked looking at me confused

"I think someone is in the house" I said, giving them the note

They both took out their guns and Luke went on the phone with someone and Leo took me to the kitchen

Mrs. James rushed over to us once she saw the terrified look on my face

"What's wrong?" She asked looking concerned

I zoned them out and start to look around for my son. Some of Ryder's security guard were standing around alert and was ready to take action if something went wrong. I then relaxed once I saw him with my mom and his aunties (Grace and Hailey) but then I noticed that two persons were missing and as I was about to ask a question the lights went out for a second and I heard my little sister and Grace screamed. I tried to find my way over to them with Leo and Mrs. James behind me whispering for me to stay close. A minute later the lights came on and we heard a gunshot followed by a terrified scream and I knew exactly who that scream came from

"Stay here" Leo said to me and he knows damn well I wasn't going to listen

"Yeah right" I said rolling my eyes

We got to the living room and OMG you wouldn't believe what we saw.......
