Chapter 8

My whole body froze, it was like my whole world stop. Ryder is in a gang and he's the leader that means the rest of the guys are also in his gang, that explains the shooting at the party.

Wait, I'm sitting in his lap, I'm in a gang leaders lap and not just any gang leader, he is in one of the most feared gang across the world. I jolted up from his grasp and was about to run but he caught my hands and pushed me against the wall roughly and I winced from the pain.

"Please don't hurt me" I said while tears running down my face. I was scared at that moment; I didn't know what to do but Ryder's face hold sadness and regret.

"I will never hurt you princess" he was about to raise his hand to my face so I did the only thing that came to mind.

I screamed, I screamed very loud causing everyone to rush in the room including his parents.

"Don't touch me" I shouted, while pushing him away.

"Tamera please" he pleaded

"No! you're in a gang and you're the leader of it, you're a monster you kill people how could you that and live with it" I sobbed out.

By then everyone in the room was shocked by my outburst and the girls were shocked and backed away from the boys then came behind me.

"We would like to leave" Tiana said with tears streaming down her face.

Mrs. James came up to us but we backed away and she stopped in her tracks with rejection and sadness in her eyes.
"I will lead you girls out, come on" she said.

We followed her downstairs with the boys behind us, nobody saying a word until I remembered Latavia was still in surgery.

"I'm not leaving without Latavia"

"She's out of surgery and she's doing okay but she needs rest",
Leo said.

" I'll put her in the backseat and let her stay with me, now can you go get her please". I said in a flat tone.

"Okay".

***15 mins later***

Latavia was in the backseat of my car with Tiana and Shanika in the passenger seat. I was about to get into my car when I heard his voice.

" Princess I'm so so-"

"Save it Ryder, you and your friends stay away from us you almost got my friend killed and I'm not going to let you hurt my friends or family anymore by putting our lives in danger". I said and got into my car and drove off.

***Ryder POV***

She hates me now; she hates my guts. I knew I shouldn't have told her anything about the real me, now she thinks that I'm a monster; the only girl I care about, the only girl that can make me smile, the only girl that my sister love is gone.

I stood up on the steps watching my princess car driving away from my sight.

"Do you love her?"

"What?"

"Do you love Tamera?"

Wait, do I love her? I don't know because I don't believe in love but with Tamera its different; in a way she changed me, I'm not so cruel and ruthless like before.

O god, I think I'm in love with Tamera.

"Yes, yes I do" I said to my mom with a smile on my face.

She smiled and said "so what are you going to do about it?

" I don't know mom, she said I am to stay away from her "

"She just need some time Ryder she's in shock and she's scared. That's how I was when I found out about your dad; she just needs some time to think give her some space" my mom said while wiping a tear that came to my eye that I didn't know was there.

While standing there I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I took it out to see a number that I didn't recognize.

"Hello"

"Hello Ryder" that sent shivers down my body a voice that I didn't expect to hear again.

Hayden, my brother.
