SEJEONG

She stands up from her seat decided to leave first and beads goodbye to Eunwoo. Looking all fine not a tear has fallen the entire moment. Thinking she's handled herself so well. That if you bumped into her on the streets, she would just look like someone who met a friend at a café, not looking like someone who just broken up with someone seconds ago.

She walks the long street across to the bus stop and went straight home, unlocking the passcode on her door removes her shoes, and goes straight to her room placing her bag on the drawer stand, she removes her clothes, and goes straight into the shower.

And as the warm water hits her back, she inhales deep and exhales out a long breath as if she was holding her breath all this time, and even before the water hits her face a stream of warm tears flows along her cheeks.

As much as she thought that she handled herself earlier seemingly fine the whole time, she curses in her breath"shit"  the only word that came out of her.

She cups her face with her hands, shoulders heaving not moving an inch and after a long while of crying herself out she begins to calm down breathing at ease, ironically she can feel her tears had dried even though the water from the shower keeps flowing through her.

She looks at her hand and looks down to her feet both looking like a prune realizing she stayed in the shower a bit longer than she thought.

She finishes up, heads to her dresser pulling out a pajama and a hoodie as she finishes drying her hair she comes out of her room flops onto the couch cuddling the softest pillow she has.

She looks at her phone at the coffee table staring at it for a good minute picks it up and rings Wendy's number.

WENDY

We were having a team dinner when I felt my phone constantly vibrating inside my bag.

I opened to check and saw Sejeong's name on the screen it's not usual of her to call right away without leaving a message first asking if I can pick up, just one of her weird habits well just more of a good manner habit that she has.

I picked up the call sooner, my instincts telling me there must be something wrong.

"Wends," Sejeong says in a rather low voice which is not her character at all. Which confirms that something must be up. I immediately excused myself and look for a quieter room place to talk to her.

"Sorry, I wasn't able to message you first before calling. Are you, uh, is it okay for you to take this call?" Sejeong asks.

"It's okay. I'm at our team dinner but worry not I already excused myself for a moment. Don't be sorry." I answered.

There was a moment of silence "Sejeongie?" I ask waiting for her to speak. I could hear her deep breaths before I ask again "Is everything okay? I'm all good and all ears, you can tell me."

"I ugh .... I've finally decided to end the things with Eunwoo." She says, and another moment of silence seeps in her line.

I let out a breath before I speak "I know things between you two haven't been easy especially for you and I am not saying that because I am your friend. But honestly, I'm glad you've finally chosen yourself this time." I paused for a moment before I spoke "Not a bias still!"
