jeongin sighed as he was awaken by the sunlight that crept into his room much early in the morning. today was going to by just like any other day he thought. chan would pick on him, say hurtful things, it was basically verbatim.

he got ready and arrived at school early. unexpectedly, someone who wasn't jisung or minho called out his name from behind. he looked back to see hyunjin walking towards his direction with a smile on his face. he smiled back.

"good morning jeongin, how are you?" he greeted quite formally, making the younger giggle. "i'm okay jinnie...can i call you that?" he chuckled and hyunjin responded with a 'yes of course'. they carried on with their conversation, not noticing chan in the corner glaring at the both of them.

once jeongin was alone again, chan took this as an opportunity to pick on the younger like always. jeongin opened his locker to put his books inside, then closing it before turning away. he was welcomed with chan's face inches apart from his.

"what the he-" he was cut off by a push to the ground. "ow what the hell was that for" he winced in pain, nothing too bad though.

"who was that huh? your little boyfriend?" he scoffed, bending down to look at the younger face to face. "why do you care" jeongin spat.

"oh i don't, it just annoys me how you act like a slut all the time" to this, jeongin just rolled his eyes. he picked himself up and dusted his clothes before saying, "stay annoyed, and stop being petty for once" and left the older standing there, shocked.

it was the first time jeongin had spoken up for himself infront of bangchan. he couldn't help but smirk, he was proud of himself. you could say he was finally loosing interest in the elder now.

-

chan hasn't been bothering jeongin for the past 3 days. he didn't exactly know why, but supposed it was because of their last encounter. instead, jeongin spent the days hanging out with his new friend, hyunjin. because of this, he was distracted from the constant daily pain he used to deal with. and it definitely took him away from the liking he used to have for bangchan.

"innie-ah, i bought you strawberry milk!!!" hyunjin ran up to jeongin holding up the milk like it was a trophy with a big smile on his face. jeongin giggled at the action. "thank you jinnie hyung" he said before poking a straw through the milk carton and taking a sip.

changbin and chan watched over from the other table, as the two boys giggled while talking to each other, occasionally feeding the other. they truly looked like a couple at that moment. changbin scoffed at chan's obvious angry look.

"don't tell me you're jealous? don't you hate that kid"

"what the fuck i'm not jealous, and yeah i hate that kid. anything he does just pisses me off okay?!" chan spat, now avoiding gaze with both jeongin and changbin.
