"innie-ah!" hyunjin called out while approaching jeongin for a hug. the younger happily returned it.

"how was the talk with chan? he didn't do anything stupid now, right?" hyunjin pointed a finger at jeongin, making the boy chuckle at his protectiveness.

"no jinnie, he apologized. kinda shocked about it to be honest, but he looked sincere so i gave him a chance" jeongin said while taking his books out of his locker.

"alright, but be careful still. i'm always here innie" hyunjin smiled.

soon they had to part ways since their first classes were in 2 different buildings. jeongin walked into his class and immediately saw chan, already seated in his seat. hesitantly, he passed by, expecting to get tripped again but...he didn't.

he looked back at chan with a confused look. chan just gave him a faint smile. did he really change? jeongin thought to himself, before sitting down in his seat.

those thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the professor who walked in. "okay, i'd like to start this class by telling you about your upcoming video presentation. it will be by pair. check the board for the pairings after my class"

and so right after the professor walked out the room, all the students rushed to the board to check the pairings. jeongin followed behind them. he scooted his way into the wave of students and browsed through the list of names until he saw his'. and right beside it, was 'christopher bang'. oh shit.

-

"a video presentation?! with bangchan?!" jeongin whined. jisung was visibly upset because of how chan used to treat jeongin. but there was nothing better he could do now, than to comfort his friend.

"you can do this innie! if you have complaints, come to us, we'll help you out!" jisung said.

jeongin looked up and smiled at the couple, whispering a little 'thank you' before standing up, packing his bags, to look for bangchan. he found the boy playing basketball in the court.

hesitantly, he walked up to chan, the elder saw him and immediately stopped playing. he grabbed a towel to wipe his sweaty body, and drank big gulps of water. the sight was breathtaking, well, to jeongin at least.

'why the fuck is he so hot' jeongin cursed in his mind. once he realized he was staring, he swiftly avoided eye contact. this obviously didn't go unnoticed by chan, who just chuckled at the boy.

"i'm doing the script for our presentation, when are you available to film?" jeongin asked, still avoiding contact with the beautiful man. "just text me when you're done and i'll make time for you" chan said, handing out his phone so that they could exchange numbers.

once they did, chan waited for jeongin to exit the coirt, giving him a soft smile. before going back to play with his friends.

-

"wait so he didn't do anything to you?" hyunjin asked in shock. "mhm" jeongin replied. the boys continued talking until they reached jeongin's front gate. hyunjin waved goodbye to the boy and left to go home.

once inside, jeongin was immediately greeted by his aunt in the kitchen. she seemed ti have been making food, really good food too. he sniffed around making his aunt chuckle. "i made lasagna, i want you too be the first to try it!" she said before handing him a slice on a plate. jeongin dug his fork in the pasta and put it in his mouth, eyes widening with the extreme outburst of flavors.

"wow, this is so good!" he exclaimed, making his aunt clap her hands in excitement. he ended up finishing the slice and even ate one more before going up to work in the script.

jeongin grabbed his laptop from his backpack only to place it down on his table to begin writing. it was a quick presentation so he was able to finish it in a matter of two hours. it was pretty late by then. he ended up going to sleep at 11pm.
