chapter 9

"...you guys kissed?" hyunjin asked, shocked in disbelief. almost like he was a little upset of it happening, but brushed it off. "yeah, crazy isn't it?" jeongin chuckled. once they got to their lockers, hyunjin eventually left to get to his class.

as jeongin turned around, he was met with chan right in front of him, making him let out a faint squeak of shock. chan chuckled before wrapping his arms around the younger's waist. jeongin immediately blushed.

"chan we're in school!" jeongin said, trying to get out of chan's grasp, but the older was far too strong.

"i don't mind...baby" chan smirked. and with that, he earned a smack on his shoulder. he winced and pretended to be in pain, jeongin just laughed at him before walking to his class. not forgetting to give him a peck on the cheek, making the elder blush.

"so what happened to the whole 'i hate yang jeongin' thing?" changbin teased.

"i guess opposites really do attract" chan chuckled in response.

"but chan, are you serious with this one?" changbin asked, sounding a little more serious.

"well, yeah. why wouldn't i be?"

"i don't know, it just seems to have happened so quick"

"i like him changbin, i'm sure of that. i want to be the one to take care of him" and with that, the two parted ways. changbin being at the rooftop to smoke, and chan going to his next class just because he felt like it.

"are you sure with him innie?" hyunjin asked. jeongin just playfully rolled his eyes, "yes jinnie, i am. besides, i've been crushing on him for a while now too" hyunjin's mood seemed to have shifted.

just as they were about to walk out the gate together, they were met with chan who immediately spun jeongin around and gave him a peck on the lips, making hyunjin visibly upset.

"i'll walk you home baby" chan insisted. jeongin looked at hyunjin, who just nodded before agreeing. the couple said goodbye to hyunjin and left off.

minutes of walking, they finally arrived at jeongin's home, and to their surprise, his guardians were back home from a business trip. so jeongin insisted that chan should have dinner at his'. chan of course could not say no, and agreed.

"ah who's this young man you brought home darling?" his aunt greeted the two.

"he's..." jeongin paused.

"hello, nice to meet you both. i'm bang chan, jeongin's future boyfriend" chan cut him off then grinned at the shocked boy.

"well, come on then, you're always welcome here" and with that, they all took their places at the dining area and ate a delicious expensive dinner. this was different than what chan usually had, but it was enjoyable.

after the dinner, chan first said goodbye to jeongin's aunt and uncle before pecking jeongin's lips, saying goodbye to him as well. and then left off. jeongin was left with a contented smile on his face.
