"I am Giraffe" (Pezzy x Reader)

The day was like any other, you had woken up, ordered some food, and now you were about to sit down in a call with your best friends, Grizzy, Tuxy, Ash, Bre, and Pezzy.

Only today was different. Today you would be confessing your feelings to Pezzy, telling him everything.

Obviously not in the call, but privately in messages and DMs.

You two had been jokingly flirting with each other since day one.

*Flashback brought to you by Grizzy's contagious laugh*

You sat down and joined the call, keeping your camera turned off.

"Sup fuckers?" you spoke, glancing at everyone's camera to see what they were doing.

"(Y/n)!" Grizzy greeted happily as he stared down at his phone, texting his girlfriend.

"Sup!" Tuxy exclaimed, smiling at the computer monitor.

Pezzy, however, looked up from his keyboard and stared at his screen with slight shock.

"THAT'S (Y/N)?!" he exclaimed, the question surprising everyone.

"Yeah, Pezzy. That's (y/n)." Ash simply exclaimed.

"What has he never heard a person's voice before?" Simple joked.

"Shut the fuck up!" Pezzy shouted.

You chuckled and turned on your camera, and as soon as everyone could see you, you looked to see Pezzy's eyes shoot open, like two giant saucers.

"Holy shit..." he mumbled under his breath.

"Hi, Pezzy. I don't think we've met before. I'm (Y/n)."

He paused for a moment before replying, "H-Hi."

"Awe, Pezzy's shy!" Grizzy teased.

"Shut the fuck up! I'm not!"

*End flashback*

As you joined the call, your image popped up, everyone greeted you, but you noticed something. Pezzy had a big smile on his face.

"I just join and Pezzy looks like he just got fucked, what did I miss?" you asked, teasing the man with a coconut haircut.

"(Y/n), Pezzy has something he'd like to say." Bre explained.

"Okay..."

You looked at Pezzy's video feed in the call, unsure of what was happening. Pezzy then pulled his head back so it created the illusion that he had a long neck.

"Pezzy, what the fuck?"

"I am giraffe."

Everyone, including you, started cracking up because he said it the same way he said "I am pufferfish."

As you all settled down, Pezzy got serious.

"(Y/n), from day one, I felt something when I met you. I'm not sure if you felt it as well, but I have to tell you how I feel or I might fucking go crazy."

"Awe." Ash teased.

"Shut the FUCK up!" Bre scolded before staring at her screen with happiness in her eyes.

"Pezzy..." you trailed off.

"No, (Y/n), I gotta say it. I like you, a lot."

"Pezzy, if this is a confession then I gotta confess," you took in a deep breath, "I like you too. From the minute I met you."

From that day forward, you and Pezzy became official, you had gone to meet irl a few times every month or so, spending as much time with each other as possible.

And you two couldn't be happier.
