Jess was sleeping on the couch, you just finished editing her video and opened your chocolate bar quietly. You snapped off a piece of chocolate then you felt someone breathing down your neck.
Turning around, Jess was standing there. She had hunger in her eyes but you didn't see that because you fell out of your chair. She scared you.
"JEEZ JESS!"
"Shut up! I smelled chocolate!"
"You were just sleeping on the couch!"
"SO?!"
You huffed and handed her the piece you snapped off. She happily popped it in her mouth and dragged you over to the couch.
"We are going to watch anime, you are not getting you of it."
"Which one?"
"LOVE STAGE!!!"
"Oh god no."
"YES! ALL DA SHIPS!"
"Jess."
"SHIPS!!!!"
"Jess."
"We will ship EVERYTHING!"
"JESS!"
"WHAT?!"
"We didn't even finish Durara, or Black Butler, or Ouran."
"We can finish dem later. Now cuddle!"
You chuckled and sat next to her. She rested her body on your lap, you chuckled again.
"Jess, the kids are going to wonder why you're not playing with them."
"Just cuddle me!"
And so you did, eventually you two fell asleep on the couch. Your kids, Joseph and Julia, wandered in to see what was going on then smiled at the sight.
The two went back into their rooms and went to bed.
