Aah! Christmas. You and your boyfriend, Jack, were cuddled up in front of the fireplace. A giant blanket hugging your pajama clad bodies together. Jack sat you on his lap and rested his chin on your shoulder.
"I love you."
"Love ya too."
You tried reaching for the present you wanted to give Jack, but you couldn't reach.
"Jack, can you let go for a minute?"
"Why?"
"I wanna give you your gift!"
"You didn't have to get me anything."
"Baby, please?"
He sighed, "Okay."
You grabbed the box and handed it to him. He tore off the wrapping paper and threw it in a corner. He opened the box and pulled out a mug. On the mug was a hand-painted septiceye with the words "World's Bossest Boyfriend." Jack smiled and hugged you.
"Thanks." he said.
"No problem. I got a bit creative!"
"You made this?"
You laughed, "No, I bought it at the pottery barn and painted it. I got it finished two days ago and I wanted to give it to you!"
He kissed your forehead and handed you a box. You ripped off the wrapping paper in one tug and opened the box. You saw a photo frame with a picture inside.
The picture was of you and Jack when you two had your first date. Jack had taken the picture of you two watching the sunset. In the bottom corner of the frame, you saw a little message.
"I want to have more moments like these with you, forever."
You looked at Jack to see him on one knee in front of you. You threw a hand over your gaping mouth.
"(Y/N) (L/N), I love you and I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me?"
You tackled him to the floor in a hug, planting light kisses all over his face.
"YES!"
This was the best Christmas ever!
