Touch

Suho hesitated a little but shook her hand firmly.
" I am suho and it's pleasure meeting you too. Please take care of us from now on"
She nodded her head taking her hand back. She turned to general.
" Sir."
"Protect them at all costs." He ordered.
" Will do Sir." She replied and with a salute spoke in her sleeve.
" On position, be there in two."
"Gentlemen follow me." And with that we all followed her.
Suho walked beside me and held my elbow. I looked at him and found him concerned.
" Are you all right?" He asked.
" I am...sigh....I don't know." I told the truth. How can I explain how I feel right now. The girl I have been looking for years is right here in front of me yet so far away.
She walked in with us in the elevator. It was filled with awkward silence. It's not that we had no questions but we did not know how to ask any. The elevator opened with a ding.
" This way" she guided us out from the opposite direction we came from. We reached an underground parking lot. There were all kinds of vehicles you could imagine. All high class and fine cars. I felt my fingers itch to touch them. We all looked with awe at them.

There were some other people standing in the parking lot. Upon seeing us they waved and walked over to us.
" Agent Cross"
One of the guy came forward and greeted.
"George, I think you are ready." She asked moving towards a car and opened the door.
" Have I ever been not ready." He replied. And I don't know if it's just me but I felt his intentions are not good.
"We will make two teams. Sehun, DO, Kai and Chen will go in that car." She pointed at a car besides the one she is standing.
"Rest will ride in this car."
Like that we got into respective cars and we started to drive back to I don't know where.
Vanessa opened a tab and tapped something on it. There were three more people with us in the car.
"I know you all are anxious but you can trust us. We will protect you at all costs." She ensured us.
"We are just surprised that is all." Baekhyun said.
"Good. Now guys there are few things you need to know."
We all looked at her. I looked at her. That face which I could not forget. Which kept me awake at nights. I stared at her.
"Starting this moment we will be with you all the time. Wherever you are going at least one of us will be with you. There are totally eight people guarding you in person."
I didn't say anything but just didn't look away from her either. She is wearing black sunglasses which is hiding her eyes. I don't know if she looked at me or not.
"Do we have to give up on promoting events and shows also?"
Xiumin's words echoed our thoughts.
"Not really. We will accompany you there as well. You can continue all your activities as usual." Said the other man who was driving. He had dark hair and fair skin. A scar on his chin but it was not hideous it made him look more cool. This was the first time someone else had spoken other than Vanessa.
"Oh...Thank you mr...." Xiumin's words stopped as he didn't know his name.
That man chuckled.
"Name's Demetri by the way. And the two guys sitting in the back, the one on left is Xavier and the brooding guy on the right is Gabriel."
The introduced guys nodded at us in greeting and we did the same.
The night was silent as we drove and stopped but this is not home. It is a restraunt. I just forgot the number of times I have repeated this word 'restraunt' and we are here at last.
" You guys haven't had dinner yet right?"
I could hear kai thanking every god that exists for listening to his prayer.
"How did you know?" Baek asked. She just smiled.
"We know everything." Was the only thing Gabriel said before getting out of the suv.
"Don't get off the car until I say so." Vanessa told us before getting off herself and shutting the door behind her.
"What is going on?" Xiumin asked.
"I think they are checking the area first." I replied.
"What the hell we got into?" He said frustrated. Indeed what the hell we got into.
It was only four of us in the suv through the window I could see other suv with remaining members stopped behind us. All right of them were scattered. Scanning the area for every little sign. Since it was too late at night not many people were around but all I could see is her. She walked with steady steps. Calm and confident. A lot different than she was before. She had a carelessness to her steps before but that is not the case now. Her every step is calculated. I rubbed my chest over my heart where it hurt.
Baekhyun rubbed my back in comfort and I just looked down. Before he could say anything we heard the door open and Xavier's face popped in.
"Let's go."
And like that we all were seated in a private room in the restaurant. Usually we would be very excited and loud but that was not the case today.
"You guys don't have to be so nervous. I know it seems scary but as long as we are here na harm will come to you. Just relax." Gabriel encourage us.
"It's easier for you to say." Xiumin whispered.
"It's not. We are saying this because we are confident we can deal with it easily. You just have to believe in us."
That indeed calmed down our nerves. The door to the room opened and two waitress came in with our food. They got a little startled by four very menacing looking security guards.
" Hello ladies you guys are indeed fast." Said Demetri to the waitress. They just smiled under his flirting tone relaxing and went ahead with serving the food. Once they left Vanessa and Xaviersat down with us opposite to me as well.
"Don't start yet." Said she picking up a plate and taking a piece from every dish we ordered. I looked at her quizically. But I was not the only one.
One by one she tasted everything and then wiped her mouth with a tissue.
"You can begin now. It's safe."
What the fucking hell!!
"Did you just tested it for poison?" I asked outraged. Finally she looked at me... looked at me.
"Yes Mr. Park I did." She replied very calmly.
"Are you crazy? what if it was poisonous? How could you be so careless?" I can't believe she would just go and eat something knowing it may have poison in it. I could feel my anger going up. I clenched my fists on my thighs.
She tilted her head to right.
"If it was then we have antidote as well besides it's my job and no Mr. Park I am not crazy." She answered all my questions impassively but I could feel the anger radiating from her even if no one can. I stared at her in equally as angry.
"Chanyeol she said it's alright. And look it was not poisonous so drop it." Suho whispered in my ear.
"Let's begin I am starving." Kai interrupted trying to change the atmosphere in the room. I tried to eat but could not eat more than three bites. My hunger vanished. The food felt like stone in my mouth. I put down my chopsticks and gulped down water.
"What is it Chanyeol? Why are you not eating?" Asked DO concerned.
Now how can I tell him why. Just the thought of her eating poison got rid of my hunger and filled me with so much anger that it's a miracle I haven't broken anything yet...or crushed her to my chest.
"I am not feeling good." That's the only excuse I could come up with. I know it's lame but seriously I don't care.
"Does it hurt somewhere? Let me see." And with that she stood up from her seat and walked over to where I am sitting. I turned towards her not knowing what she will do next. Without saying anything she took my hand in hers. I felt electricity go up in my body from her touch. I inhaled a sharp breath and clenched my other hand in a fist on my thigh.
