CHAPTER 22

Seungmin: Jaeya... It's been a week. Come out and get some fresh air. Eat something, anything. I'll ask to chef to make whatever you want.
Me: ....
Seungmin: I'm not accepting this. You are going to change and we'll have a picnic together. Like it or not.

He brought me a white dress to wear.

Seungmin: I'll be back in a while. I'm going to get some food. For now, get changed.

He left the room and I went to change. After a while, he came back and dragged me over to one of the gardens. He places a mat on the grass then forces me to sit down.

Seungmin: sit

He sit beside me and opens a basket. He takes out sandwiches, cream puffs and a few more desserts.

Seungmin: you're a sweet tooth right? I managed to find some desserts to eat.

Seeing that I didn't eat it, he takes a cream puff and stuffs it into my mouth.

Seungmin: aigo you stubborn girl. Do you really need me to feed you? You're already 19.... Sigh... I know this is hard for you but you acting like this is making everyone worried. It's time you pulled yourself together okay?

I turn to look at him and made a small smile.

Me: okay
Seungmin: atta girl

???: wow you guys came here without us?

We turn to see all the other boys including Jiwoo there.

Seungmin: I mean it was supposed to our quality time together.
Chan: fine we'll leave

Seungmin: since you're already here, come join us.

We had an enjoyable time together, eating, talking and having fun. After a good night's rest, I was well rested and partially fine. Seungmin called me to his office.

Seungmin: first of all, I'm sorry I forced you over here and now thinking bout it... It was kinda selfish of me... Feel free to go back if you want to-
Me: ... Maybe at first I didn't like it here but I grew to love being around you and that's not gonna change.. I love it here with you and the boys...
Seungmin: really? So- I mean I know this a lot to ask but do you want to stay?
Me: I'd love to
Seungmin: and about me marrying you..
Me: oh-
Seungmin: I'll break that off for now and we'll let the future decide yeah?
Me: sounds good
Seungmin: you know spending the last 3 years with you, I found out that I love you so much, my feelings for you are genuine to the extend I can't even explain how..
Me: well... I would be lying if I said I don't love you..
Seungmin: then do you mind starting over again with me?
Me: just ask and it'll be given
Seungmin: will you be my girlfriend?
Me: smiles sure
Seungmin: wait- you were really gonna say yes?
Me: yes?

He turns around facing his back on me.

Me: Seungmo?

Seungmin: I- I can't face you right now..
Me: why?

I walked over step by step to face him. His hands were on his face but I could clearly see he was as red as a tomato. Even his ears gave it away.

Me: are you blushing?
Seungmin: m- maybe...
Me: you're so cute hahaha

there was a knock on the door and Chan opened it

Chan: Soobin and Beomgyu are here

they rush in and hugged me tightly

Soobin: YAYA! What the hell- nvm.. I love you
Me: ... Don't you hate me?
Soobin: I'll never hate you.. Never in a hundred trillion years
Beomgyu: anyways.. Father was getting old already.. And while you were gone, he found out he was suffering stage 4 cancer so if there was a better way to let him leave peacefully it would be that..
Me: you guys... Are you serious? I killed our father...
Soobin: oh I'm fine with it

everyone looked at him shocked

Soobin: N- NO! I DON'T MEAN IT'S GOOD! it's just.. He did hurt us pretty badly after all.. Especially you Yaya..
Me: .... Wat happened to Jun?

Soobin and Beomgyu looked at each other hesitantly

Me: just tell me
Soobin: well.... he fled to London
Me: oh... So binnie you'll be taking over the clan?
Soobin: well... I don't have a choice...
Seungmin: do you wanna.. Perhaps join forces?

I look excitedly at Seungmin and Soobin. Soobin was hesitant at first but agreed

Soobin: and that leads to you... Choi Jaeya..

I looked at him innocently

Me: what?
Soobin: what do you mean what? What's your plan?
Me: you're.. You're not gonna like it...
Soobin: I'll always support you, through thick and thin
Me: well... I'm staying here with Seungmin because I've grown to love the people here and I love this place as well.. Not saying that I don't want to be with you and Gyu, I just feel better with Seungmin
Soobin: it's alright, we understand
Me: I promise to visit though
Soobin: you better
Me: Gyu?
Beomgyu: yeah?
Me: you're fine with that right?
Beomgyu: totally...
Me: Gyu.. You know you can't lie to me
Beomgyu: no, its fine.. I'm just trying to process everything
Me: I... I'm sorry
Beomgyu: can you show me your back-
Me: why?
Beomgyu: I wanna know if its true father really did hurt you that bad...
Me: b-
Soobin: Ya, just show him.. Its time he found out

I pull the back of my shirt for him to see. He gasped and touched it lightly.

Beomgyu: wow...

I pull my shirt back down and turned to him

Me: Gyu? This is all the past.. We need to focus on the future
Beomgyu: ..... Alright....

he hugs me tightly

Beomgyu: I love you... See you soon Yaya
Soobin: we need to go now... I love you Ya
Me: bye Gyu, bye Binnie.. I love you too

I hug Soobin as well
