Chapter 9,"Drama Between Us?"

Shuichi was holding back tears.
He knew he was a crybaby but there's no reason why he should be crying right now...right?

"What do you mean?Youre friends with Kaito Momota!There's no way youre weak!"

Kaito laughs proudly.

"I dont understand Saihara-Kun...you arent weak..."

Kaede frowns.

"No...I am weak.I cant face Kokichi anymore.Its impossible.There's no way..."

Shuichi wipes his teary eyes.

"You can face Ouma-Kun!He's waiting for you!He's worried about you!Just go ta---"

"I like Kokichi....okay?"

Shuichi blurts out softly,interupting Kaede.
Kaito's and Kaede's eyes grow wide as the area becomes quiet.

Shuichi was happy he got that off his chest but he was worried about what Kaede and Kaito would say,so he decides to just end the coversation.

"There.I told you why I cant face Kokichi anymore.Tell Kokichi im sick so he doesnt worry.See you guys later."

Shuichi slowly closes his dorm door,leaving Kaede and Kaito outside.
Shuichi takes a deep breath once he was alone in his room.

"I told...someone.I told someone how I felt....finally..."

Shuichi laughs sadly.
He told his two closest friends about his feeling towards Kokichi....even though Rantaro and Kokichi have something going on....and Kaede knew that.

He told someone,so all he needs to do now is to ignore Kokichi until all his feelings go away.
Shuichi decides to forget whatever is happening outside his dorm room and continue to read his book.

Afew hours pass,and Shuichi ignored all the knocks at his door,he didnt even go to lunch or dinner,he just stayed in his room,re-reading the book he got from the library.

Shuichi then fell asleep,getting tired of reading his book.
When he woke up again,it was 2am.
He then realized he didnt leave his room since he saw Kaede and Kaito.

"Wow...how long have I been in my room?"

Shuichi yawns,hopping off his bed.
He walks to his bathroom and freshens up abit.

He decides to walk around in the school building abit,alittle bored of being in his room all the time.

Shuichi throws on his shoes and leaves his dorm room,making sure to be quiet,so he didnt wake anyone.
It was 2 am after all.

Shuichi sneaks out of the dormitory successfully.
He takes a deep breath as he exits the dormitory.
He then proceeds to walk to the main school building as his mind wondered.

Then,an image of Kokichi popped up in his head.
Shuichi stops in his tracks as that image appeared.He imagined Kokichi crying his eyes out because of what he did earlier.
Kokichi may be feeling even worse because he hasnt seen Shuichi for the rest of the day.

Shuichi's eyes begin to water as guilt builds in his stomach.He wouldve apologized but...its too late now....he probably broke Kokichi...

Shuichi enters the main school building and walks up and down hallways,trying to clear his head.
Then,before he realized it,he was walking past the dining hall.

He stops and stares at the doors for sbit.Shuichi wasnt that hungry but he heard Kaede's nags in his head.Telling him that if he doesnt eat,he'll get sick.

Shuichi rolls his eyes.He pushes open the dining hall doors and enters.
Since it was 2am and no lights were on in the school building,it was really dark in the dining hall,only moonlight that was shining through the windows helped Shuichi see.
