Chapter 12,"Im Confusingly Happier With You!"

Shuichi was stunned.There's no way Kokichi just asked for a kiss.There's no way.Impossible.

"Are you crazy??"

Shuichi asks in disbelief.

"Huh?I...dont think so."

Kokichi mutters,looking down at his lap.

"You j-just dont casually ask someone that!"

Shuichi blushes,steam practically rising off his face.

"Aw...why not?"

Kokichi frowns.

"B-Be...because you just dont!You're asking too much from me..."

Shuichi mumbles.

"I didnt mean to make you uncomfortable,Shuichi."

Kokichi laughs quietly,looking amused.
Shuichi felt overwhelmed.It was like Kokichi was playing with his feelings.

"I'll...be right back."

Shuichi grumbles,standing from the bed.

"Where are you going?"

Kokichi asks,with a confused and panicked expression.

"Just for alittle walk.Y-You can stay here for abit."

Shuichi speaks quickly.He wanted to end the conversation quickly.

"I wanna come with you."

Kokichi frowns.

"No.I'll b-be right back,I promise."

Shuichi laughs nervously.
He then quickly leaves his dorm,leaving Kokichi there alone.

Kokichi instaly felt lonely.
He knew he had upset Shuichi.He just didnt know how he had upset him though.
All he did was ask for a kiss.That wouldnt upset anyone....right?

"Shuuuiichhiii....!Come baaackk."

Kokichi whines,calling for Shuichi.
Shuichi didnt hear him.
He just sits there on Shuichi's bed,pouting.

Kokichi wanted to ask someone how he upset Shuichi.There's no way he could sit around while Shuichi was upset.
Then...Rantaro came to mind!
He hasnt seen Rantaro all day.

"Taro!"

Kokichi gasps.
He hops off of Shuichi's bed and quickly leaves his dorm.
He closes Shuichi's door then goes over to Rantaro's dorm.

He knocks and rings the doorbell.
He waits for afew seconds and then the door opens.
It was Rantaro.

"Kokichi?Hey.Whats the matter?"

Rantaro smiles,happy to see Kokichi.

"Hey.Can I talk to you,Taro?Its about Shuichi."

Kokichi says,straightforward.
Rantaro tilts his head slightly,abit confused.Kokichi looked...slightly uspet.

"Sure.We can talk for as long as you wan---"

Rantaro was the suddenly interupted by someone calling him from afar.

"Amami!"

The person calls.
It was Kaito.
Rantaro sighs heavily.Kaito runs up to the two.

"Hey Amami!Oh,and hey Ouma!"

Kaito smirks.

"Hi Kai.What do you want with Taro?"

Kokichi asks,bluntly.
Kaito laghs nervously.
