                              Chapter six
                                 

Karl stood by the cash as I paid for my candle, I was hoping he couldn't tell how anxious I was, how my hands were shaking from my anxiety. I mean not only was he a cute boy, he was also my rival.
As I grabbed my bag, I nervously stepped closer to Karl, "Do you wanna walk around the mall together..? Maybe grab something to drink..?" He asked me, with a small stutter, making me feel better about the fact, that I wasn't the only nervous one.
"I'd like that.." I smiled, Karl and I then began walking out of the candle store together.

"So you like doctor pepper.?" Karl asked me as we sipped on doctor peppers, walking through the mall.
"Very very much." I took a sip of my doctor pepper and he grinned, "I also love doctor pepper very very much.."
"We have a lot in common don't we..?" I looked at him with a nervous grin and he nodded, "A lot.."
"Okay..tell me about yourself, three things go!" I told him and his eyes widened, "What the honk, this is stressful, okay, okay, I have a cat named Grey..I love Minecraft, and I used to have pink hair." Karl almost stumbled in his words and I chuckled,
"I also, have a cat, his name is Jake, I adore Minecraft, and I used to have blue hair.." I grinned, Karl looked at me in amazement, "You're so cool."
"I also think you're very cool.." I looked before us.
"Now you tell me three facts about yourself that aren't related to mine, GO!" Karl told me and I thought for a quick second, "I love the show survivor, I love going to the arcade and I love listening to music until three am while dancing on my bed!"
"What the honk! I love survivor so much!!" Karl smiled widely and I smiled back, feeling the two of us connect on a different level than I have ever connected with anyone, which was crazy because of our circumstances..I felt surprised.

"Alright..well it was nice getting to know you Teegan." Karl said as we stood before my car, I smiled up at him, "You too Karl.."
"Do you think maybe, I could get your number..? So we can talk more..?" Karl asked me, I nodded, he handed me his phone and I added my number in.
"Have a good day Karl.." I smiled as I got into my car, Karl began walking to his and I huffed to myself, feeling very overwhelmed.

I laid in bed as Karl and I texted for the fifth hour in a row, non stop. I didn't care to stream, and I didn't care how late it was. I was enjoying myself way too much.

karl: so it's way past three a.m..are you dancing up on your bed yet?

teegan: not yet no..

karl: yet?

teegan: soon :3

karl: i'm feeling kind of tired..but I wanna keep talking to you..

teegan: ill be here when you wake up :]

karl: i'll be fine on three hours of sleep. How was your day?

teegan: pretty great, yours?

karl: meh, alright:3

teegan: silly.

karl: im drinking a monster so I get more energy for texting

teegan: 0.o

karl: what?

teegan: i may or may not be drinking a monster also..

karl: :o twins?

teegan: maybe..

karl: we are freakishly alike..

karl: sweater weather..

teegan: gosh I love that song..I went to their concert a few years ago

karl: lucky.

teegan: I know right

karl: can I see a photo of Jake?

teegan: of course

teegan: he is currently having quite the nap..

karl: he is so adorable, what the heck.
here is Grey!

I had to take a moment to appreciate this photo, Grey looked absolutely adorable, with such a nice  coat of fur, but Karl..half of his face was hidden and I was still flabbergasted by how handsome he looked in his golf sweater.

teegan: I would die for Grey.

karl: maybe one day they can have a play date :]

teegan: jake would love that.

karl: may I ask why jake?

teegan: Jake from adventure time was the inspiration in that name..now i know he's a dog but..

karl: that is so cool gosh..

teegan: thank you :p

teegan: my eyes are watering from my yawns, im afraid my time to sleep has arrived :(

karl: that's okay! I should go to sleep also :]

I shut my phone with a small smile, my eyes shut now. Karl was so sweet, I couldn't wait to become good friends with him, regardless of the circumstances, I wanted to be friends with him anyways.. I just had to make sure he never finds out that I am Sulley..
