Chapter nineteen

"Oh you look absolutely handsome tonight Karl." I grinned as I got into his front seat, Karl grinned as he backed out of my drive way, "Thank you.."
I placed my hand to the volume making it play louder, as I realized Karl was playing news flash by current joys, Karl lowered it after I did so.
"Not in the mood to blast music with the windows down?" I raised an eyebrow, Karl shot me a soft smile, "Later yeah, but I'd rather talk to you."
"Oh yes..how was your day?" I said to make some conversation, Karl sighed, "it wasn't that great. Can I tell you about something that's been annoying me lately?" I nodded, "Of course."
"Okay, well you know how im a streamer.." I mumbled a simple mhm, getting nervous to know what was bothering him. "Well there's this one girl Sulley, she's a faceless streamer, she's an absolute bully to me, like, she hates on my alt and my streams, she's just rude..and lately all my friends have become close with her, even one of them has like a mega crush on her and all they do is talk about her..and I never told them that she hated on my account back when I started streaming...she wrote this disgusting tweet, one of my viewers sent it to me..it hurt my feelings, and ever since then we've just blocked each other out.." Karl sighed, I felt panic rise from inside me, but I started to begin to be confused, someone said I hated on him? Sent him screenshots of my tweet? I furrowed my eyebrows for a moment and then Karl shot me a glance, I had forgotten to respond, my hands grew sweaty from my nerves, "She sounds like a bitch.." I swore, Karl's mouth dropped and he chuckled, "bad word."
"Sorry...she sounds like a meanie." I corrected, Karl pushed his hair back as he pulled into Chandler's drive way, "That's okay..I didn't expect you to get it much.." He mumbled, I began to start to think of something to say because I felt like I just failed him, at being there for him, but Chandler and Mia walked up to the car, it was too late to try.

"So like..is this going to be a usual thing..?" Chandler mumbled as he got into the back seat, Karl raised an eyebrow, "What?"
"Are we going to be double dating often?" He grinned, Karl shrugged, "I dunno."
"Cool it Chan chan, it's only our second date." Mia chuckled from the back, I turned to her and shot her a grin, "Sorry getting ahead of myself, anyways, what are you guys thinking for supper? Taco bell..?" Chandler smirked at me in the rearview mirror and I laughed, "I could die for some taco bell right now.." Mia shut her eyes as if she was dreaming of a supreme taco. "I thought this was supposed to be a lengthy double date.." I commented, "Taco bell and mini putting!" Karl shot me a wide smile, I nodded, "Sounds fun to me."
"I'm about to hit so many balls into flowing water just wait for it!" Chandler exclaimed with excitement. Mia chuckled, "Me too Chandler."
"What the heck im so excited right now WOOO!!" Karl began to shout, I smiled widely and Karl began to up the volume on the radio.

I stood in line with Karl as we waited for our order to be called and my phone began to ring.
"Isn't taco bell beautiful?" Karl was interrupted by my phone call, "Very..one sec." I sighed and pulled it up to my eyes, directing it away from Karl.
It was Corpse. My eyebrows furrowed and I picked up the phone, walking away from Karl abruptly.
"Hello..?" I mumbled as I stepped outside, Corpse's raspy voice hit my ears like heaven, but I was still annoyed. "Hey gorgeous. I know you said you're busy, but I have quite the tweet to send to you. I doubt you'll like it. I wanted you to see it before it blew up too much." Corpse told me, "What? What's it about?" He cleared his throat, "It's about you. Obviously. I just sent it now. Don't freak out too much, from a faceless streamer to another, these people like to stir shit." I felt relieved and less annoyed now, more nervous than anything else.
"Thanks for calling me Corpse, and im sorry if I sounded moody, i'm just with my regular friends you know..they don't know about Sulley..and i'd rather it stay that way..seeing Corpse pop up on my phone is very questionable.." I smiled lightly, "No worries." His voice made me grin, it really was so hot.
"Anyways i'm going to go check this tweet out now, im kind of scared.." I chuckled nervously,
"Don't worry about it too much. I'll talk to you later, oh and uh hey, change my contact name to something less questionable then.." I just knew he had a grin on his face right now, "Okay, I will. Bye coco!" Corpse chuckled, "Okay bye stupid."

I hurried rushing onto my Sulley twitter into my dms with Corpse, taking a deep breath as I clicked on the dm. I opened up the tweet and felt myself let my breath go once I realized it was all a joke.

I rolled my eyes, and felt relief fly over myself, Corpse was such an ass, I let out a chuckle, slowly allowing myself to find it funny. I turned my phone off and turned around, going back inside, Karl's eyes met mine as I stepped in. "Everything good..?"
I nodded, "Im sorry, just my brother again, he's such a pain in the ass.." I lied, I felt myself getting deeper into my grave, what if Corpse told the guys about this..like right now..Karl's going to start to be suspicious of all the coincidences, that aren't actually coincidental. "I hope I get to meet him." Karl shot me a beautiful smile and I grew one, "Of course you will.." I held back a harsh swallow,
"Let's get back to Mia and Chandler.." Karl stepped aside and motioned for me to walk before him, I bowed my head and began walking to the table where Chandler and Mia sat.
