Chapter eighteen
Teegan's pov

"Im a streamer.." I mumbled to Mia as she sat at the kitchen table with me, her eyebrows furrowed and I sighed, "Like Karl, I play video games and twitch stream them.."
"Okay..so why is this such a big secret, this is another thing that you and Karl have in common!" She smiled, I sighed again, "Mia..you're not mad at me?" She shook her head, "You have to have kept it from me for good reason, so, what's the problem with either of us knowing?"
"Well..i'm a faceless streamer, and im pretty popular, Karl and I are friends with all the same popular streamers, but we've never interacted before, on streams or in person, until we met in person." I explained to her,
"So why did you keep it a secret from me?" She asked me, I shrugged, "Sulley, which is my twitch name, is like my alter ego, I just felt like..she's someone I can't be, she's super funny and not shy because no one knows who she is, it feels weird already telling you about her.."
"Okay..well..we don't have to tell Karl.." She shrugged, "Yea we don't but this is my problem Mia." I placed my hand on my temple and sighed heavily, "Karl and Sulley my alter ego, hate each other, like so much, more than anything in the entire planet." I mumbled, Mia looked very confused now, "But why? If you guys interact with the same people, and like the same things..how different is your alter ego to yourself?"
"Not at all, that's the big thing..back when I started streaming a few years ago, Karl did too..and one of my viewers sent me a screenshot of him completely bashing my twitch..and then we just started both became rivals, he's everything i've always wanted to beat..and that was until I met him. Since he doesn't know who I am, he's so sweet and cute and funny, not like the jack ass who tweets and comments on Sulley's stuff..it's weird, and the more we get close, the more I don't know what to do, our friends call my phone, what if he sees that? Or thinks my streaming room is the bathroom, or if we start dating and he just finds out, he's going to absolutely hate me.." I placed my head into my hands and Mia sighed heavily, placing her hand onto my shoulder, "Keep it a secret for now. But not for much longer, we need to somehow make him completely believe that Teegan could never be Sulley." I lifted my head and raised an eyebrow, "But how Mi?"
"Well..for now we need to make her act out of character..im assuming you have socials for sulley?" I nodded, "Everything."
"Let's have some fun. We're going to post a picture Teegan never would. Faceless of course. I have just the idea.." Mia grinned and stepped up from her chair, I slowly followed her.

I stared at the devil shadow Mia posted on my Sulley account, it already getting thousands of likes and many comments..I shut my phone off and groaned, "Mia do you think he'll hate me if he finds out?"
She shook her head, "I dont."
"Yeah but, I never had Sulley hate you, or just be a bitch to you.."
"Clearly he deserved it.." Mia rolled her eyes, I sighed this time, "I just don't understand how he can like me, as Teegan, but not like Sulley..we're the same girl, she's just less shy..it doesn't make any sense.." I fell back onto my bed and Mia shrugged, "Maybe he's just always been jealous or something, I dunno T, I barely know anything about twitch, I am a bit hurt you never told me, but I understand why.."
"You don't have any other questions..?" I asked her, Mia fell to my side and she shrugged again,
"I respect that you needed your time, i'm just glad you didn't keep hiding it when you needed me, I couldn't hate you for keeping this secret from me, it's a secret from everyone. No more secrets anymore okay?" Mia raised her pinky up at me and I intertwined it with mine, "I promise."

I stared at my closet with a sigh, getting ready to see Karl again, Mia was already long gone to get ready for the date with Chandler, and I was stuck figuring out a new outfit, my phone chimed as I held a pair of my favourite mom jeans and I picked it up, furrowing my eyebrows at my recent text.

corpse: we should be Lucifer and Lilith ;)

Sulley;) : my recent post making us get biblical now?

corpse: definitely. What're you up to tonight?

I furrowed my eyebrows and left the chat on read, hoping corpse would get the memo, he was a sweet, funny guy but..I was overly focused on Karl right now. My phone chimed with a snapchat notification and I glanced at it again, karl<3!
I picked up my phone with a grin and opened up the photo.

I smiled widely and set up my camera with the three second timer, posing for the photo.

I was about to shut my phone again until Corpse texted me again, I rolled my eyes and opened the chat.

Corpse: ouch :( I just wanted to stream with my favourite girl..

Sulley;) : busy tonite :( maybe tomorrow

Corpse: deal. Don't flake out on me.

Sulley;) : okay Corpse, have a good night.

Corpse: You too beautiful

karl<3 is typing...

I clicked on the notification and Karl's text immediately shot a smile to my face.

karl<3: you are sooo cool

me: are you on your way soon? :3
